The owners were very helpfull when my car broke down. They transported me several times to the garage. Also the people in the restaurant were lovely.

Beautiful big apartment in the centre of town. We shared between 2 of us, but there are 4 bedrooms so plenty of space for more to share. Minutes walk from bars/restaurants.
Hotel Rural Astura is located in Villacelama, 4 km from the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.

Felix and Anna did all that they could to ensure that our stay was a good stay. Together with Alice and Norah and Anne and Martin and Anita and Barbara we all were very pleased. Good luck from Martin A.

Sun is the perfect host. She is very attentive and aims to make sure pilgrims are welcome and comfortable. Dinner was a wonderful vegan stew with rice and superb wine. Couldn’t say enough positive about her operation. Sun rocks.
we choose this hostal as a pit stop on route between Portugal and Santander. wow! beautiful old building in the middle of town. quirky interiors, wonderful old cobbled floors. but we had the most amazing dinner cooked by the owners son (Jack - son of Jacques). the owner choose us 5 courses to share as a family and it was the best meal we had all holiday. find this little gem of a hotel and go eat! really good value too
The hotel is located in a residential and quiet area outside the town. We chose it because of parking facilities and the restaurant. The dinner itself (only menu of the day) was not sublime, the breakfast instead was good. The region is very nice and worthy to visit.
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed overnight on my camino trip.
rooms are specious and luxury. the opposite restaurant (Sidreria La Huerta) was a pleasure too!
