Great super modern hotel
Staff were amazing so helpful
Good food at the taverna /informal
Packed with history and wine. Do your homework and you’ll get more out of trip. Many tours only offered in Spanish. For instance the castle tour portion at Peñafieli is only offered in Spanish and you can’t wander as individual. The wine museum offers English and French as well as Spanish and is self directed.

This is a tiny town that is nice as a base for visiting wineries and historic sites such as Peñafiel or the monasteries, and also for walking the path that goes along the Duero. The river is very beautiful at this point and you can go down and enjoy it. The town is very quiet. There aren’t many restaurants or bars in town, but you’re not too far away from some good places to eat.

Great service and staff. The pool was fantastic as it had jets and sprays throughout that acted as massages. There is also a connected pool outside, also with massage jets. Spa services are excellent. This is a family-owned hotel with several other special properties that they renovated to preserve their historical value. I look forward to returning ASAP
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME HERE AND WILL BE BACK AGAIN
THIS TIME WAS FOR OUR DAUGHTER'S WEDDING, IN THE HOTEL, AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED.

Good gym
The breakfast was fantastic and fresh! It was our anniversary (20 years!) we booked the thermal pools couple experience. The hotel was thoughtful and even included champagne in the couples relaxation thermal pools experience! We loved it! 10 out of 10 and we will love to come back!
Exceptional building beautifully maintained by the foundation las Edades del Hombre, who own the building. The hotel operation is a separate matter
Breakfast is very good. Some staff are helpful and friendly. Great spa.
I stayed for 1 night the staff instantly welcoming and friendly. I left early at 6am the next day and without asking the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfadt which was awesome. Also the setting is amazing

Wonderful location set within the old monastery. Amazing job converting the place in a luxury hotel. Great breakfast buffet. Great Clarins spa and close to most wineries
Fabulous hotel with excellent facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly enjoyed the thermal pool. Food was delicious. We shall definitely be back.
Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. We were upgraded, which was nice but ended up very close to the "action". Basically 2 weddings in 2 nights (friday/Saturday).
