A clean hotel, very friendly staff who went above and beyond to be helpful, a great location away for everything, a lovely in house restaurants, at a fair price. Secure parking for motorcycles under the hotels CCTV. A nice selection of food for breakfast, which was replenished as required.
With good access to the A-8 Motorway, Hotel Viar is 500 metres from Cabezón de la Sal town centre. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property.

Old "luxurious" hotel turned with time and no renovation into hostel level condition. Extremely customer friendly young staff. Location near highway. Spacious room. Bed good, long shared cushion aswell.

Lovely quiet location but very limited facilities in the area. Excellent parking. Friendly staff.

This is more of a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel, hence posada.
As a result of time pressures we didn’t eat here but the menu looked good.
Situated in Barrio de Arriba and within 49 km of Santander Port, Posada rural Fuente Juliana has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi.

Beautiful property, well renovated with quality contemporary decor yet revealing original features e.g. stone walls. No dedicated parking but spaces are easy to find nearby. Efficient check-in. Wide staircase or elevator to first floor. Stylish bedroom with comfortable mattress (memory foam?) and good quality sheets. Coffee machine, complimentary water and fridge. Wi-fi was adequate for us. Outdoor and comfortable indoor seating areas near the front door. On-site restaurant Mesón del Cazador looked popular. Nearby Restaurante Enrique only serves meals on weekends. First floor breakfast room with self-serve continental buffet including juices, cereals, yoghurts, cakes, jams, breads, cold meats (limited), tomato, good range of tea/coffee. Worth a walk around the tranquil picturesque rural village. 15 minutes from A8. 25 min to Comillas or Santillana del Mar. 40 min to Llanes or Santander.
