Well, we are used to a 5 star or 4 normally, but we have a dog, and was difficult to find some where in tossa. That would accommodate us.

To tell you the honest truth, I couldn't give them a bad review, it's a old lady and her assistant that works so hard. They cannot do enough for you, so dispit the old decor and a reception bar from the 70s. They are lovely lovely people, the place needs a refurb, and bar needs modernising, but clean. Thanks for having us as guests

Great town. Not too big, not too small, just right.
Great town. Not too big, not too small, just right. It still has the culture due to the old town and fort, unlike some of the other coastal towns which are more party towns. However I wouldn't want to be there in the summer, i would imagine it would be very crowded. Late September was good. Highly recommend a visit to Tossa. I could easily live here!

It has hardly changed since I first went in the 70s.
It has hardly changed since I first went in the 70s. It has an interesting historical past, which is worth researching. Sometimes I stay in the lovely city of Girona and take the bus to Tossa after a couple of days which makes a good trip. Local transport in Spain is plentiful and easy.

The hotel reception was very nice, however, the room was dated and warn. The sea view over looked a back alley. Parking is an issue. You either pay for parking or park in the “free” area which was a bit of a walk and wasn’t free once we were towed and fined for parking in a free area that was blocked the next morning for a car show. Unfortunately we didn’t notice the signs posted stating that vehicles needed to be moved by 7:00 AM.
We loved the town and would have liked to have stayed more than one night.

First visited Tossa in 1984 as a lad and probably didn’t appreciate what it has to offer.
The beauty of Tossa is it never changes. The Vila Vella is a beautiful walled village and dominates the sea front and there are a vast array of quality restaurants on offer as well as some very nice shops, very few ‘cheap souvenir shops’.
Not the sort of resort that attracts the partying types who are far better served in Lloret de Mar so never rowdy.
A well kept secret and I hope it stays that way!

Really pretty, old and atmospheric town.
Really pretty, old and atmospheric town. Plenty of life yet quiet and relaxing. Lovely mixed crowd, young and old, with different nationalities. Local are friendly and helpful. Beaches clean and not too packed. Lovely restaurants serving good local fare. Easy to move around in, all pedestrianised . Historic section just beautiful, sympathetically restored and open for all to see. Boat trip fab just up the coast, stopping at caves and coves.
The hotel was so clean, cute and well put together. The property was at the most ideal location right along the beach and central to all the stores and restaurants and tourist attractions. I can’t say enough good positive things about this property! They accommodated breakfast for us even earlier than the scheduled time due to our bus scheduled time! The staff were so friendly and helpful and they went above and beyond. I can’t wait to stay again in the future.
THe location of this hotel is unbeatable. We also really enjoyed our breakfast. Just the perfect amount for two people. I can't say it enough but the staff was incredibly accommodating. We had a regular checkout but wanted to enjoy the day at Tossa de Mar - they allowed us to store our bags at their hostel and even shower there afterward. Raúl and Alina were so lovely, we can't wait to go back again.

Since Tossa is a small village, the location might look far from the beach, but in reality, it is 5-10min of walking through an interesting old town, so I would pick the location again. Several open parkings nearby (7-9 e per day)
Our room was spacious and cozy, with a great balcony where we could relax in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft and clean. The hotel is very close to the beaches, lively city center, and major attractions, but in a quiet area, which was impressive. The breakfast was tasty and diverse, which was a huge plus to us and gave us a great start to the day.
Loved the friendly staff. Aaron was amazing as was the wait staff and bartenders and environmental. Lovedrhat the same staff was there daily, they recognized you and you recognized them. The view from the hotel in every direction was amazing. Walking distance to everything.. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary all week there. Was fabulous in every way.
loved the spectacular view, it was a perfect location for checking out beaches in the area Cala giverola and Cala caynet -the host was easy to reach by what’s app, the rooms and bathroom were tiny but beds were comfortable, kitchen had necessities. loved how close we were to Tossa de Mar but not practical to drive at night on the mountain roads.
If you want to make your stay at Tossa de Mar a unique expirience go to Hotel Sant Marc and let them give any advise, and most important follow them! Francesc was accompaynign our expirience from the beginning to the end. Also when stating at the hotel service was delicious. We felt like at home we'll come back for sure!
My daughter and I were staying for a week at the “Capri” hotel , room 300, with huge terrace and sea view. It was absolute delight! Usually when we come to Tossa de Mar we are staying at the “Reymar” 5* hotel . This year we decided to try more central location, and next year we would definitely choose “Capri” again.
Everything was really good. Hotel near the beach. The food is good. The staff is very kind and helpful. A very large and spacious hotel. The main thing was to have clean, clean towels, the rest was less important. We had a very large balcony which was very great. Thank you Hotel Don Juan, thank you Tossa de Mar.
Don’t often leave reviews - but I was so happy with the vibes of Hotel Windsor. From the warm check-in from Montse, to the lovely gentlemen (Diego, Enrique y el Argentino) working at the bar, to Robbi at check-out. They were so lovely and create such a nice dynamic for guests. Will return without hesitation!
Very nice location, beautiful area. Apartment quite comfortable. Local beach is ok, many people but always able to find some place. Local shop, restaurant. Not that far from town (Tossa de Mar) however the road is a bit challenging for frequent driving.
Terrace in front of the hotel. Four minute walk from the bus station! Francesca covers front of the house. She was very helpful and speaks English well. I stayed in the super small economy single room which served my needs. AC worked great.
Great hotel next to the old town. 3-4 minute walk to Platja Grande. Rooms are comfy and very clean. The rooftop pool and bar are amazing, great way to finish a day of activities , beach, hiking or anything that floats your boat.
Fantastic location right on the beach. Short walk to many restaurants and bars. Breakfast was superb with everything you could wish for. Lots of areas throughout the hotel to sit and enjoy the beautiful views or read a book.

The hotel is very good placed - maximum 10 minutes of walking from the bus station (Tossa de Mar Estacio) and near to the beaches (Platja Gran and Platja des Codolar)

wonderful place in the middle of Tossa de Mar. We liked the artificial fire place in the wall, and the beautiful and big bathroom. There was a garage for our car we rented for the first night...
Personnel is the best asset of the Golden Bahia de Tossa. We received all and even a bit more assistance we needed. Rooms (we took three - all in close near), food, animation also were good.
