Don’t like having to select breakfast choices the afternoon before! - but understand that because of few guests this would assist the hotel. However, breakfast was excellent - so much food provided that we had enough to take away for lunch! There are no other facilities in Torazo (that we could see) but the guide books fail to mention that it is a fascinating village with many unusual architectural features.

Surrounded by large, green gardens, La Casona de Amandi is set 5 minutes’ drive from Villaviciosa. If offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking and several shared lounge areas.

The house is really nice, and have plenty of space to enjoy outdoors. Amazing breakfast, very complete and with very good quality.

the food (breakfast was always something to look forward to), the decor and atmosphere of the house and rooms, very comfortable bed, friendly, helpful service, great location for exploring the area. if we come back to the region we will definitely stay here again.

Our host Pedro was a marvel. His property was both immaculate and full of beautiful design elements. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. We loved the quietness of the location with stunning scenery all around. Our stay was somewhat complicated by some health issues and Pedro went out of his way to ensure that we had the help we needed. We would highly recommend.

This was an absolute gem in all senses: the warm welcome and care of Carmen, location, and, of course, the architecture and history of the house. We usually look for boutique hotels and little family B&B, however, this historic house exceeded all the expectations. The breakfast (and the breakfast room) were fantastic as well. Everything! It was tastefully decorated, clean and it had a very good, welcoming feel. I would like to add, for people who might have read a person comment who claimed to be “very scary” because they couldn’t lock the door from inside; that’s total nonsense, if you take a second to verify, you can see that once the door is closed, it automatically locks, so it cannot be opened from the outside; unless you have a key, of course. This place is wonderful and perfectly safe for a single woman. Thank you for the breakfast left outside the door! 👍🏻❤️

This modern hotel is located in the centre of Villaviciosa, just 5 minutes’ drive from the A-8 Cantábrico Motorway. The Bus Station is just 300 metres away.

Really good, central location. Our room was bigger than expected, clean and modern. There was a launderette across the road which was handy for us on the Camino del Norte.
