The location at the outskirt of the village was great, with a nice view of the surrounding hills. The area in front of the house was a fantastic place for having ones breakfast. The apartment was very fresh and modern inside.

The staff is really helpful even tho they don’t speak English, they cleaned every day, and the hotel is over all very nice and close to the beach. Really love the atmosphere of the neighbourhood. Second time staying here but absolutely not the last!

We loved absolutely everything about Gran Miramar. We have been blessed to have stayed in wonderful hotels all around the world and this one was up amongst the best. It was just about faultless. The attention to every little detail, decor, ammenities, location, food, beverages, minibar, bed, bathroom and friendliness of staff was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member including parking our car, fixing a wifi issue, getting a specific drink from another bar area and accommodating our very poor Spanish.
The location of the hotel is perfect with the beach just a two minute walk out the back gate and the main city centre an easy 15 minutes walk via the main entrance.
There are at least three areas to enjoy a quiet drink and/or snacks and meals at various times across the day. A favourite of ours was the lobby area followed by the rooftop terrace later at night.
The pool was sensational - the perfect temperature, deep and long enough to properly swim. Plenty of sun lounges added to the ambience. It was a delightful way to cool off at the end of a busy afternoon of sightseeing.
The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was amazing and well appointed with fluffy towels, face washers and high end shampoo, body wash etc. The bed was turned down every night, wet towels were always replaced and the minibar restocked daily.
We largely ate away from the hotel but the food we did try was delicious.
We would not stay anywhere else in Malaga and highly recommend Gran Miramar to everyone.
