Tias is a small town settled above Puerto del Carmen with a drive down to the beaches, passing an excellent golf course on the way. Residential with two main roads in the Centre that have just a few shops, bars and several good restaurants. Not the typical type of place for holiday makers with children. However, if you know the Island really well and you can stay at a large villa in Tias with sports and TV/wifi facilities, then you have the best of both worlds: peace and quiet, restful surroundings and the opportunity to visit all those tourist attractions that this Island offers.

Quiet and central for travelling but a car is essential.
Quiet and central for travelling but a car is essential. Local supermarkets available but it is a 10 minute car journey for the larger supermarkets. Better beaches and tourists attractions are 30 to 40 minutes away by car. Tias is also 12 minutes from the airport.

Stayed in the very touristy part of Puerto del Carmen so loads of restaurants, shops and bars in walking distance. Lovely beach just Infront of the flat aswell. Other parts of the island are an easy driving distance from here. Only negative thing is the parking. Sometimes you have to park the car a short walking distance away from the flat where you are staying.

Lovely prom, nice for a morning stroll, soon the flat.
Lovely prom, nice for a morning stroll, soon the flat. The walk from Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero is more strenuous but worth the effort. The views over the sea are beautiful and the walk takes an hour. If the return walk proves too much, take the ferry back, single trip costs €9pp and takes half an hour. There are many restaurants in Tias, our favourite was Moritoni but if you eat after 6pm, be prepared to have to wait. Excellent food, great service and reasonable. Lidl is located in this area if you are self catering. We walked there and stocked up and got a €5 taxi back.

Not much in Tias itself, but a great well stocked supermarket with lots of fresh produce, easy to park, ATM. Several cafes and tapas in Tias. I would say car essential and then travel around the island. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

The Villa was impeccably clean and the outdoor area gets sunshine from dawn until dusk with views over Arrecife and Playa Honda.
Its just 10 minutes from the airport - you can hear the occasional plane when overhead but not as they land or take off.
Tias is a very small village which includes a supermarket and a handful of bars and restaurants - so recommend a car to explore the island.
This villa is ideal for holidaymakers looking for a relaxing break away from the major tourist resorts but with easy access to them.
Me and my partner were looking for a cozy place to spend our holiday and Mi abeto delivered that since day one. We arrived late and were welcomed by Jose who had left some food and drinks for us (very useful if you arrive late as we did!). The apartment was clean and well maintained and the jacuzzi was the cherry on the cake! This is by far our best experience in Lanzarote and happy to have met Jose and Lola which made our stay in Lanzarote even more special.
Thank you

Villa Feel was absolutely amazing. During our trip we stayed at 3 properties (Villa feel and 2 hotels on the way home in Barcelona). The only one that exceded our expectations was Villa Feel. Amazing Hosts, superb location if you want to explore the island of Lanzarote, great view + everything you need during the stay.
