The Hotel far exceeded our expectations. The Hotel generally is superb, yet small ( boutique ), and attention to details extremely well thought through. Rooms were spacious and thought had been put into the design and furnishings. The staff were informative and engaging and the food was excellent. We will definitely stay at la Fornal again !!!

Beautiful setting and the tent was amazing - so luxurious. The pool was great too. Woke to a sunrise view from our bed which topped it all off. Really lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. An added bonus was the tasty breakfast delivered to our terrace in the morning. A truly wonderful stay.

The hospitality, the location, the desired detail to meet the needs of each customer, the unexpected personal care to apease each person staying at the hotel, was beyond appreciated and impressionable. You felt like you were staying at a family or friends breathtaking estate verses at a hotel. The food was exceptionally delicious. The ambiance was extremely warming and comfortable. The views were spectacular. The owner, hosts, were extremley generous, courteous, kind, warm, friendly, and very very hospitable. Their attention to detail and desire to welcome you go beyond words.
It's such a charming hotel with lovely friendly and helpful staff. Whoever designed and furnished the hotel has a wonderful eye for detail and the same can be said for the meals which were a delight. Good food, well cooked and beautifully presented.
We also loved the village of Terrades which we have driven past on many occasions. Lovely old streets full of interesting houses, pots of plants and it is so very, very cared for and clean.
The village of Terrades makes a great base for exploring the Pyrenees. The two gentlemen who run this small olde-world style hotel are friendly, charming and so helpful. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and Juan Carlos and José Maria made a huge effort to make our New Year's Eve meal one to remember. We cannot thank them enough and warmly recommend La Fornal to anyone visiting this delightful part of Catalonia.

Very big and clean room. Big bed. Traveled in the cold season but the room was nice and warm. Nice decor.
Had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and was served the most fantastic starter (a salad with shrimps and asparagus). Eating in the restaurant is a “must”
Very nice and helpful personell. Charming hotell in old style with carefully selected mix of antique and modern details. Clean. Delicate three dishes menu dinner. Rich breakfast.
