We stayed at the Hotel while attending a wedding in the area.
Reception facilitated a very early hours check -in (we had paid for the night but didn't arrive from the airport until the early hours). We appreciated the availability of the early hours (2.30am) check in.
Beniconnect shuttle bus brought us from Alicante Airport to the door of the Hotel in approximately 75minutes at a fraction of the cost of a taxi ride. We returned to the airport in similar fashion.
Hotel courtesy shuttle bus to Altea town which is available 6 days a week was a welcome bonus on very hot days. The town is an approximate 2km walk from the Hotel. The driver was a very pleasant helpful young man who gave us a sense of the town and of where to go etc.
The sound of the sea in our room with the balcony door open (no sea useful view) was a very pleasant experience.
Our room was NE facing so no useful sun other than in the very early morning. Rooms with sun and/or a sea view are considerably more expensive. We knew that when booking.
Breakfast was of resonable quality with good selection of food overall.
Fresh orange and other fresh juices at breakfast were lovely.
Room safe was appreciated.
Room fridge with some alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks appreciated especially given our early hours arrival.
Welcome packet of jellies appreciated.
Reception staff were pleasant and helpful.
Room was clean if somewhat dull.

Superb hotel about 10/15 minutes walk from old town Altea. Hotel had a special charm. Great free parking. Large and very comfortable room with balcony. Lovely garden with swimming pool. Good choice for breakfast. Dinner served in the restaurant or on adjoining veranda was suburb and good value and I wish I'd eaten there both nights of my stay. Other restaurants and bars in old town. Lovely helpful staff. All perfect

Lovely little place, however getting something to eat on a Weds evening was a problem. Of 8 restaurants not a single 1 was open after 6pm. We went to local supermarket and bought in food to cook which was fine as my husband likes to cook. Even the piscina was closed due to vacation, oh and the church! Next morning was quite bustling as market was on. Local tapas bar was great for breakfast, friendly locals and lovely village bakery
