Superb hotel about 10/15 minutes walk from old town Altea. Hotel had a special charm. Great free parking. Large and very comfortable room with balcony. Lovely garden with swimming pool. Good choice for breakfast. Dinner served in the restaurant or on adjoining veranda was suburb and good value and I wish I'd eaten there both nights of my stay. Other restaurants and bars in old town. Lovely little place, however getting something to eat on a Weds evening was a problem. Of 8 restaurants not a single 1 was open after 6pm. We went to local supermarket and bought in food to cook which was fine as my husband likes to cook. Even the piscina was closed due to vacation, oh and the church! Next morning was quite bustling as market was on. Local tapas bar was great for breakfast, friendly locals and lovely village bakery
