Very cozy flat in an amazing location with a community pool and amazing nature like the Aigua Xelida cove close by.
The space was used well and the flat has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed having meals on the balcony and enjoying the sea view :)
Parking is available and included in the price.

The host was very helpful and responsive both in advance and upon our arrival. The pool was also very nice to have as the location is up a steep hill from the beach so cooling off was required!

Second visit to this hotel. Great location, near restaurants, lovely coastal walks and the sea! The hotel is very pretty and has gorgeous gardens that are well kept. It’s also lovely to be a child free location. Breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve had in Europe.

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a good night's sleep. The staff was very nice and accommodating, they answered all our questions. The breakfast was excellent. The location of Hostal la Foscal is ideal and it was really nice to be on the sea front.

I went out of season and the village was very sleepy and quiet which suited me. Go to Tamariu because you want to relax on a small beach with turquoise water and brilliant views, great walks and have places like Begur and Cadaques to explore. There are a few seafront restaurants with simple fish based menus, the ones I ate in (all that were open!) were friendly and good value for money - and with that view of the pretty bay. If you plan to stay in Tamariu you won't need a car ( the whole place can be walked in 15 mins or so, it's tiny), but if you want to do some exploring, get a car - it's worth it. I would love to go back to Tamariu and explore more of the Catalan coast and countryside.

Beautiful seaside village.
Beautiful seaside village. We stayed late September for 4 nights. Quite a few restaurants close for the season on 1st October but many stay open. We ate in Can Tonet...Restaurant Royal and Es Doci. All catered for coeliac diet and a child who is not adventurous. The gluten free chocolate cake in Es Doci was delicious. We did a day trip to Barcelona too and visited Llafranc one night and had dinner in Blau.
We would like to come back and head north to France and explore other nearby towns. It was really peaceful there

The flat's view is unmatched.
The flat's view is unmatched. The flat is clean and comfortable, albeit somewhat noisy (but bearable) due to a restaurant operating downstairs. We had a nice stay. Know you need, on top of the Booking reservation, to hand in a 400€ deposit which is refunded 14 days after your stay - The money is not blocked as a car deposit, but is effectively taken out of your account and sent back provided the cleaning went smoothly.

What a wonderful surprise to find such a charming hotel in a perfect location just steps from the beach! The simply, but fresh and modern decor was appreciated. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel is also nice and quiet so you get a good night's sleep! Our family was warmly welcomed and the frendly, calm atmosphere of this hotel really contributed to our holiday spirit. We also appreciated that it is a pet-friendly hotel :)

If you really want a nice quite getaway this is the perfect spot, if you want a bit more choice of restaurants to get out of Tamariu, next town Llafranc has a good bit to offer. I highly recommend either towns for your stay. The beach in Tamariu is very nice and sandy. The water was amazing, clear and refreshing and there is a short 25 min walk through the forest to Aiguablava beach.

Beautiful cove in the Costa Brava.
Beautiful cove in the Costa Brava. Great base for nearby hiking and seeing adjacent coves. Town itself was a little small, with limited options for dinner ... so we ended up driving out for dinner. Perfect little 2-day escape for those of us living in Barcelona.
We've stayed in Tamariu many times in various properties, but this property exceeded all others by far. The host Xevi is incredibly helpful and thoughtful. This beachside house is of an exceptional standard and is beautifully furnished throughout. The added bonus of the spacious garage, equipped with paddle-boards, a kayak, beach umbrellas, an inflatable pool float and beach toys all helped to make it the perfect holiday stay. Highly recommend staying here!
The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the beach. We had rooms with a wonderful view over the bay.
The room itself was quite large, well equipped and perfectly clean.
Staff at reception was really nice and helpful, and also Tomeu at the bar was very friendly.
The breakfast buffet is really good, and the terrace where you take the breakfast has a very nice view on the bay.
The view from the bar is also nice, tapas there are quite good.
Carlos and Marina were the kindest and most lovely host during our trip.
We got plenty of tips on where to go around the area and beyond.
The house is lovely, clean and tidy and it was relaxing to have the breakfast on the terrace each morning.
I can highly recommend this homestay for your stay in Tamariu and we will definitely be back for our next trip.
The location was fantastic, very close to the beautiful beach of Tamariu. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a huge terrace with views of the sea and space to sit and eat and sunbathe. Esteve was the best host, warm and welcoming, going out of his way to make the visit easy for us and he was attentive to our every need. Thanks ESteve!
Clean house. Beatiful backyard. Two big sleeping rooms. Big windows at the living room. Well equipped house with cosy interior. Lots of outdoor space. Kids played safely in the backyard. Private parking in garage. Tamariu is a very special place with incredibly beautiful nature. Thank you for your apartments! We will definitely come back.
the location was just amazing, Quiet, complete view of town and sea. Nothing better. Winter so places in town closed but easy drive to close towns like Begur and Calella de Palafrugell. Did not eat at hotel but menu looked good, if a tad pricy. Absolutely loved our 3 day stay for relaxation and local touring during the day
The hotel was new, clean and friendly. The décor was very smart and elegant. The breakfast buffet was good, with a variety of food options. The communal areas were very comfortable, making it a lovely place to sit and read a book or magazine at any time of the day.
Breakfast great, location wonderful. Only problem was lots of ants in the bedroom and bathroom which I imagine would be very difficult to manage for the hotel. In Australia we are sometimes inundated with ants no matter what we do to try to deter them.
The location is great, just a minute or two walk from the beach and restaurants. The upstairs terrace was a lovely spot to hang out, read, have a cocktail. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was the best I found in the area.
Amazing location. Cute restaurant in the first floor with a small free breakfast of croissants and coffee or juice. The room was basic, nothing special. Bed was decent. The A/C worked very well. Small balcony. Bathroom was clean.
The apartment has a great location and a great view over Tamariu village.
Everything else was acceptable...Very clean sheets but uncomfortable bads, weary furniture, a bit of mold in the bathroom. We will not stay here again.
