The hosts made our stay so relaxing. Elaine especially was so helpful with her in-depth knowledge of the area. She couldn’t do enough for you. The bedrooms are very spacious and equipped with a fridge, and there is also a communal kitchen for guests to use which, for us, was another big bonus. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially the sunrise. Breakfast was delicious. I can highly recommend Elaine’s scrambled eggs; so tasty.
Our stay was simply ‘perfect’ in every way. Thank you for having us.

A lovely rural place which we needed at that stage in our road trip. We managed to book last minute and were welcomed by Rolf on arrival.
The property has a nice sized saltwater pool and plenty of beds and seating around it. One part has a netted area which was great because there are so many flies.
Our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. There was no oven or microwave so we had to change our cooking plans but this was not an issue. Although there was no air con in our room, the ceiling fan kept air circulating and we had a nice sleep.
We had a small private area to sit out and spent the end of our evening stargazing which was lovely!

Taberno is a quiet but charming village, just perfect for us.
It probably wouldn't suit people who are looking for lots in the evening but we found it delightful and would definitely return!
The views and sunrises are simply stunning.
Loved the tranquility and the 'vibe' of the place. Francisco and Pilar were wonderful hosts. The accommodation was well maintained and a comfortable home from home. We will definitely return as it's a short drive from the area we visit regularly. Would thoroughly recommend the Sendero del Picacho...a walk starting and ending in Taberno. Stunning, although perhaps avoid doing it in a heatwave like I did :)
We stayed here for a week while waiting to move into a house about 15km away.
Sol de Taberno is a stunning setting with spectacular views. Apartment was traditional and spotlessly clean regular towel and bedding change.
It is a really peaceful retreat and this was our second visit here. But won’t be our last.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and messages are answered swiftly.
A beautiful and tranquil location, just a 5/10 minute walk to Taberno Town. With Albox and Huércal Overa just 15 minutes drive
A lovely house with a pool and hot tub. The house has everything you need and fully catered for your stay. Petra and Wilbert are fantastic hosts with lots of info about the area. A must stay!!!
