So amazing! - First, upon arrival, the staff member that checked me in was so kind and really cheered me up. I had planned my stage of the Camino badly this day and ended up walking 22 miles (Viana de Castelo to A Guarda), which was too much for me. I was in bad shape and so tired when I walked in. Really appreciated such a nice welcome! - After such a challenging day, I was SO HAPPY when I saw my room. Beautiful, comfortable, modern, clean room that was essential getting myself together for the next day. - The hotel itself is so interesting with a museum room and beautiful antique furnishings. - The hotel is right next to a nice ocean bay and the main area with restaurants so you can stay close once you arrive. - By far the best bang for my buck on the Portugese Camino. Incredible value. I have no idea how this was classified as a 2 star hotel. Lovely stay! I wish I could have spent more time here.
