Hotel is a short walk from the beach. NIce room although a little small. Free street parking outside & nearby if its out of season. In Season (June to Sept) charges are levied. Hotel has a secure underground carpark for an extra charge. Dogs accepted also for an extra charge. The restaurant was the best thing about the place, food and service were excellent and dogs are allowed in.

You couldn’t ask for a better location. In amongst all the restaurants and bars. A short walk to the beach. The managers were very helpful even though they didn’t speak English.

The property with everything that was said to be Booking.com it was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and the location was good. I highly recommend this hotel.

Really appreciated the 'welcome' pack (milk, water, biscuits, coffee etc). The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was ideally placed for getting to the wonderful beach and to local restaurants.

Somo's apartment is located in greenery and peaceful location but close to supermarkets and restaurants. The beach is reachable within a 10-minute walk. Rafa is fantastic guest and helpful person. Excellent choice!

Good to get to the beach ...
Good to get to the beach ... I am Australian and grew up on the coast so I know a bit about these things. Somo beach has a usually gentle wave with sand bottom good for learning how to surf. Centro de surf with bar above is a good feature but are there showers/toilets ? not signposted if they exist. One beachside tap for washing sand off your feet but no beach showers (like in most beaches in France) great handy car park close to the beach
The apartment was very clean and neat, close to the beautiful Somo beach, restaurants and other facilities.
The amenities (fridge, washing machine, etc.) are new and functioning. Communication with the host was fast and efficient, although addressing constructive criticism could be improved.
It was beautifully kept in traditional Cantabrian rural style, in a quiet corner, though close to the main bit of Somo and its beaches and lovely cliff walks. It is spotlessly clean and the breakfast was fabulous. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely revisit.
The room was small but cozy and very clean, located very well and the staff was very kind. For sleeping and being the whole day outside perfect.
Again thank you for your understanding regarding my credit card issue and being so patient. Next time in Somo I would stay again there.
The restaurant at Hotel Torres de Somo was fantastic in ambiance and quality. All of the staff cared about the guests. If you surf, this is the place to stay in the Santandar area!
