The host was very welcoming and accommodating. He offered access to the garage to store a motorcycle overnight but I felt the private drive was secure enough. Rooms clean and spacious. Great breakfast. I'll definitely stay again.

Beautiful place . Nice lounge. The food is not to my expectations. The dinner is with limited items but expensive. Breakfast is cheaper and with more items.
Hotel Edelweiss is located 50 meters from the Candanchú chairlift, and only 2 km. from the Astun station, in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

Central to the mountains, and a pleasant stop over for one night. The ski slopes all closed, not open to hiking or other activities, so nothing to do in the town except eat and drink, or hike on the Camino trail for a short bit.

Siresa was a base for me to enjoy nature and wildlife photography. It was ideal to visit the Pyrenees.
Travellers should be aware the area is fairly isolated. There is a small mini market in nearby Hecho. My hotel provided picnic lunches which were ideal. There are a few restaurants scatter in the valley. Almost everything closes on Sundays not just here but also in the nearest large town of Jaca.
A simple, family-run hotel in an attractive location, close to the monastery at Siresa (which itself is adjacent to the wonderful village bar). The dinner menu had four or five attractive options and is very competitively priced. Bedrooms are simple with sometimes basic showers. Car parking is convenient, in front of the building. The only thing you have to be aware of is that no English is spoken - mainly Spanish, apart from one man who speaks French.
