In theory this hotel has it all: Gym, big pool, spa facilities, central location, air-conditioning, buffet breakfast. The owners and staff are welcoming and evidently take customer feedback seriously and improve their service and facilities. The younger staff are super nice, professional and helpful. Dog friendly, which is a big plus, but they do ask for 25,- per night per dog, which should be published upfront in their profile.

Great location of the hotel, view from the window and the air conditioning works 100%. Good railway communication + the station is one of the main ones in this area.
5 minutes walk to the beach, better to stick to the left when going down, the beach is better there.

The hotel is so well positioned. The view straight onto the beach is perfect. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and polite. Our room was very nice with a modern decor and balcony looking straight out to sea and the beach. There’s plenty of restaurants and bars for meals right along the beach walk with no cars. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a small beachfront hotel that’s perfectly positioned also only 10 min walk from the train station. The old town is a short walk as well and I’d highly recommend a trip up to the old castle at sunset. The views are amazing. The whole area is clean and tidy and the people are super friendly. What else can I say but “veinticinco” 😎🏝️

The place is beautiful. The Apartment 3000 is awfull.
The place is beautiful. The Apartment 3000 is awfull. Poor customer service and rude. They stole the money from my credit card. They did not inform me or asked me for a permission. They did it after I left the country, though they had sent me an email earlier informing me that my deposit money was released. They are svindler and their apartments are not safe for families. DO NOT STAY IN THIER APARTMENTS. We had to check out and book another hotel. They even threated us and ask that we must give them cash, which we didn't have and we didn't know why we should them money for. Sending stranger men to come and get money from us. We felt intimidated and threatened. We had to escape to a safer place.

The beach and the sea view are simply wonderful, but there is not much to do there. The city looks like an old people's home, no offense to our lovely seniors ;)
I must admit that it's a quite safe place to stay.

The town itself mainly caters to Spanish tourists.
The town itself mainly caters to Spanish tourists. English is not very widely spoken. There are a few restaurants and shops in the town center and more on the beach boulevard. It's a quick hop to Calafell Platja which has a larger pedestrian zone and a gorgeous beach.
Segur de Calafell is ideal for visiting other places on the coast, e.g. Tarragona (45 mins) , Sitges (25 mins) and Barcelona (50 mins) by car.

Very pleasant little seaside town, away from the tourist hotspots. It was lively, but not busy. It was also was nice to share lovely long and clean beaches with the locals - very nice relaxing atmosphere. Restaurants, bars and supermarkets along the front all very good. Plenty of parking along the front (parking meters the full length). A little further afield, worth checking out the Calafell slide (700 meter toboggan run winding down the side of a hill) - huge fun for adults and kids alike.

The breakfast exceeded expectations. They had the widest range of breakfast drinks of any hotel we stayed at. The cook made bacon and eggs for each guest, rather than have it pre-made. Lots of choices.
The location was very easy to find. In travelling for over a month in France and Spain, one of the hardest things was finding food in the afternoon. It was very easy around this hotel to find cheap restaurants any time we wanted to eat.
