Segovia is a beautiful historic town, famous for its huge Roman aqueduct and rightly renowned for its good food. The historic buildings (aqueduct, cathedral, castle) are truly impressive. And there are lots of great family restaurants serving traditional local fare at reasonable prices.

A very beautiful small city with several UNESCO heritage sites, most of the major tourist attractions can be reached by foot from the city center.
There are several restaurants in the city centre, most of them more expensive than in other Spanish cities.

I enjoy the scenery, Plaza Mayor and nice people. I arrived at midnight and a gentleman on the street helped me get a taxi and waited until the taxi arrived. I'm really grateful for what he did for me.

An absolutely beautiful town.
An absolutely beautiful town. Lots of walking, lots to see and so many restaurants to choose from. Friendly staff everywhere. We only had a single day (next year we will plan a longer stay) so we did a lot of walking and spent time visiting the castle.

Segovia is one of Spain’s most beautiful cities.
Segovia is one of Spain’s most beautiful cities. The Alcazar and the Cathedral are stunning, but nothing compares to the first time you see the Roman aqueduct. The only complaint I have is that everything closes after 2 pm and as a tourist you are forced to return to your hotel or wonder around while the town looks like a ghost town. Perhaps they could keep some of the tourist attractions open, so tourists are able to do something while the locals take their siesta.

We stayed two nights, but could have spent at least another day, or two. Take the time to walk around the river path down around the front of the Alcazar for views up, and when you get to the old bridge walk up and over the road and up the stairs to the lookout. Amazing photos. Climb the Cathedral bell tower for magnificent views of the city.
This is a lovely hotel in Segovia in a converted convent. Our room was stunning with a terrace over-looking the valley. The staff were very helpful, including giving instructions on how to approach the hotel avoiding Segovia's narrow streets. There is a large carpark (conveniently hidden underneath the hotel) which is useful if you're driving.
The entire complex was amazing! The rooms were huge, parking great and the pool was excellent. But the staff - especially breakfast coordinator Carol and the Senior bar tender/waiter - who made the best mojito's in Spain (sorry didn't catch his name) were AMAZING!!! They made Candido extra amazing - with their service and professionalism!
The location was great, and the room was amply sized. The owner was very nice. Despite being on a main street, the room was pretty well sound-proofed. Heard some stuff on Saturday night, but welcome to Spain.
