The apartment we rented was spacious with two bedrooms and a sofa bedroom in the living room. The bathroom was good with lashings of hot water. Very nice beds and a nice quiet location. We parked and then didn’t touch the car for the rest of the weekend. I’m just walked everywhere. There are some brilliant restaurants in the area. Check-in is very easy.

Calm and peaceful but also other people staying so the opportunity to socialise.
Owners were responsive when needed.
Would be a great place to come with friends with their own families as you can have your own separate apartments but be in the same place with pool.

Arrived at hotel De Jérica around 5.30pm after enjoyable drive down from Formigal in Pyrenees. Very kind welcome, van parked to side of hotel, dog made to feel at home with a bed and treats in room. Decided to stay around hotel, sat outside,had a few beers, Diet Pepsi, four cheese pizza, potatoes with garlic mayo, Spanish style of course, local ham and a range of olive oils to sample, very tasty indeed, and good value.
Very nice room , clean and fresh ( which we all know is so important!!). Sank into super comfy big mattress and slept well.
Up early for breakfast buffet, set us up well for the day….. said our goodbyes and off on our journey further south. This is a good hotel, great location, handy for what we needed. One of those hotels that you would recommend to friends, and stay at again.

We originally booked the hotel just because of it's proximity to the bike route Los Ojos Negros.
But it's a great hotel and if we ever come back to the area, we will stay in it again.
Hostal Victoria is located in Altura, just outside the Sierra Calderona Nature Reserve. It offers rooms with flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom.
Camping-Bungalows Altomira has a natural location between the Espadán and Calderona Natural Parks. The site has a lovely outdoor pool and free parking.

Pool was lovely , restaurant evening meal was fine. We were cycling ojos negros route and location is perfect. right next to bike path, albeit a steep drop down. Good campsite shop. Sitting on bungalow veranda was very pleasant, great view
Segorbe is an attractive and interesting place to visit.
Segorbe is an attractive and interesting place to visit. There is an impressive medieval quarter and plenty of squares where you can enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. We hiked to the next town of Navajas through the countryside and loved the views of Segorbe in the distance and the wonderful sight of fruit and vegetables growing in the fields. There seems to be flowing water everywhere. Don't miss the Salto de la Novia waterfall. We hiked to Navajas to see it, but if you are not into walking 20,000 steps you can drive there and it's just a short walk. For an amazing gastronomic meal, go to Gastroadictos.

Historic town, the old town is lovely.
Historic town, the old town is lovely. As with a lot of old towns they are on a side of a mountain so there is plenty of uphill walks. There is a superb restaurant called, Gastroadictos, a few minutes stroll from the apartment. The service was brilliant and the food top notch.

The city is in a badly need of proper clean-up and a fresh coat of paint. The buildings are not well maintained, they are full of graffiti and most of them need to be renovated. There is a overall feel of decay and abandonment. With very few exceptions the city lacks any greenery. The old, narrow streets are dark and lifeless.
The hotel is close to the centre of town and restaurants. Secure parking is available for 10€ a night but we were able to park on the street outside. Clean comfortable room with good hot shower. No breakfast available in the hotel but they have an agreemenmt with another hotel close by where we had a really excellent buffet breakfast for 7,50€ each. Well worth it.
The hotel offers a very tastefull 3-course menu of the day for around 15 euros which was a great added value, since the village did not offer that many restaurants. Staff was very helpful and considerate. Spa facilities where great.
