Excellent hosts - explained everything and made sure we were happy, It is a lovely place to stay and in an excellent location just a couple of minutes from the main area. Really well fitted out and everything had been thought of. A real pleasure to stay there and such good value for money too.

From the intricate carvings to the historic features, it's clear that a lot of care has gone into preserving this beautiful building. A beautiful old convent remodelled into an hotel, restaurant and cafe with large gardens set in a quiet village. Plenty of parking and a couple of charge points for EV's. In our case, a large, dog friendly room and access to the well equipped communal kitchen dining room for breakfast. There is a mainline train station opposite. Outstanding value for money.
We found it a little difficult to actually locate the hotel. Had we approached it from the other direction it would have been easier. It was a little difficult to actually find out what we had to do to check in. It was actually in an adjacent property. The evening meal we had was extremely good.
Everything. The surroundings, the old church, the hotel which has been renovated so well. The room with the shower in the ceiling and the food. The main restaurant was closed on Sunday but the “cafeteria” was excellent. The breakfast with local ingredients. The staff who were very friendly and helpful
We have stayed at this wonderful hotel before and will stay again. Its in a quiet location, very stylish and for the most part and usually excellent in every way. Very nice personable staff
Great quality peaceful hotel, with beautiful gardens to walk around. Plenty of parking on-sight. Ideal for stop off to/from Santander ferry or a longer stay to explore the area.
