We absolutely loved the location surrounded by nature with amazing views across the village to the sea. The salt water pool is a treat! The grounds are beautifully kept and instill a sense of peace. The building is gorgeous with lots of nice zones for relaxing. The staffing was minimal while we were there, but this suited us fine as it felt even more relaxed.
URH Ciutat de Mataró is a 12-minute walk from Mataró's marina, on Catalunya’s Maresme Coast. It has a fitness centre. All rooms at the URH Ciutat de Mataró have parquet floors and pale wood furniture....

I was so surprised by this hotel as the reviews previously had given it quite low scores. We found it so welcoming, the room was a good size, it was quiet and clean. The reception staff were so helpful.

I booked here for a recent trip to Barcelona as it was considerably cheaper to stay here and travel into the city by train.
The staff were really friendly, the food was great and the price of drinks was very cheap. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, helpful staff, good restaurant, nice sized pool, secure underground car park and a comfortable and clean room are all reasons for me to recommend this hotel. Located by the marina this hotel has a number of excellent restaurants close by.

The hotel is owner managed and she was superb, really helpful. Breakfast compared to most hotels is outstanding. We had dinner one evening and this was also excellent, with an extensive but well priced wine list. Finally , the pool area with surrounding garden is very beautiful.
