Location. Beautiful views!The fact that breakfast was included. Free parking! Breakfast was reasonable, contrary to the restaurant food. There was lots of fruit and fresh juice Everything was clean. 24 hour front desk. Friendly and very courteous personnel. Good beds, very nice shower and lots of towels!

Very nice experience! The hotel is located in the centre of Calella, right on the beach and just 10 min walk from the train station to Barcelona, Girona, Figueres etc. Only 45-50 min from Barcelona or Girona by commuter train. The room was comfortable and had all that was necessary. The staff was highly professional, friendly and helpful for the entire trip. Breakfast was good and varied. Overall best choice for stay in Costa Meresme. We hope to return. Thank you.

Of the many hotels on the beautiful coast of Santa Susanna, we chose this one and it was luck!
Everything corresponds to a high level and 4* service. The hotel is kept clean at all times.
The room can be cleaned every day if you request.
But we didn't request daily cleaning.
The rooms have enough everything for a comfortable stay. The plumbing is in good condition.
Very friendly service at the reception, for any question and at any time.
Fun, dynamic animation during the day and live vocal concerts in the evening.
Children's club and children's discos in the evenings. Billiard tables and other slot machines for entertainment for every taste. Convenient elevators.
The pools are clean, there are several of them on site, including a jacuzzi on the upper terrace.
The buffet food is tasty and varied, fast service. Although we only had breakfast, we were always full. Location in the center of the resort, proximity to the railway station, as well as convenient access to the beach. Lots of shops and entertainment nearby.
I would also like to note the wonderful sports and SPA complex. We managed to visit there twice.
It’s a delight, so many pools with different temperatures, a steam room and a sauna! Real relaxation.
An excellent solution when the weather turned a little bad due to rain in early June.
Highly recommend for families with children.

I had a deluxe room which has a huge balcony which was very private and great views. The room was cleaned every afternoon which meant you didn’t have to get out of the room in the morning. Breakfast was good there was a very good selection. Beach has to be accessed under the railway line but wasn’t far to walk.

Characterful large seaside village an hour by direct train from central Barcelona. Nice sandy beach, plenty of choices of bars and restaurants - some of excellent quality. Still has a feeling of community - doesn't 'die' in the off season. Much smaller and quieter than nearby resorts such as Arenys and Calella. Very little noise at night - main road runs behind the village. Parking can be tight but there are two free car parks within 400 metres of the centre of the village.

Sant Pol De Mar is a beautiful little coastal town with a great beach just over an hour north of Barcelona by train.
Not a massive choice of wining and dining places but those that are open are very good, busy, and well worth making a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Clean, great kitchen, shower and wifi. Local grocery store was wonderful. Check coffee pod size/brand before buying pods. Cloths washing machine available. 45 minutes to Barcelona, 1 hour to medieval towns, 2 hours to skiing.

Beautiful little town for those who don't like tacky tourist resorts. Couple of good restaurants (Terrasa Voramar, Talamas), a patisserie, supermarket and a couple of bars. Otherwise a quiet town with a lovely local feel. There are beautiful beaches and it is right on the train so a great base for trips around - Barcelona, Blanes, Girona... i recommend B&B Sant Pol if you want to stay there.

Relaxed and away from the more touristic areas such as Calella. Saying this, Calella is only a short bus ride or 20 minute walk away, offering supermarkets and restaurants for eating out and a larger beach.

Beautiful little town which provided our family with great memories. The town is small, authentic and picturesque. We stayed here as our base and then travelled to Barcelona for aught seeing. I don’t like crowded big cities with lots of tourists so staying here was perfect. We had a car and the commute time was fine.
We bought bread and pastries from the local bakery which were very friendly and the food was amazing.
Activities included gazing at the beach from our balcony whilst sipping on wine and playing in the beach with the kids.
Apartment is located in Lovely and peaceful town San Pol de Mar and it is in front of sea. We really enjoyed nice sea view every morning and evening. All rooms, kitchen and toilets are clean well. It was perfect place for my family. Last but not least, private garage of car was very useful for us. Easy to go beach and even Barcelona by train while we left car in private garage.
This is a really good hotel with lots to like. Exceptionally clean, well maintained, nice rooms with fabulous sea views. Very nice pool area, and the buffet breakfast is of high quality. The hotel is linked to Girona University as a training centre for young staff seeking experience in the trade, which is great. Really enjoyed our stay here.
The hotel is a beautiful, clean simple lines and feels cool and spacious. Our room was cool with a huge, very comfortable bed. Clean, fantastic bathroom! The balcony was massive and just overlooked the mediteranean, just the roof of flats on sea front below, before beach. St Pol de Mar is a gorgeous sea side town.

A great hotel with friendly staff and a large clean room. The hotel is in fantastic location and all rooms have beautiful balconies overlooking the sea. We had a extra large bed that was very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the dining room was beautiful as we sat overlooking the sea.
The staff is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is very good. L'Ermita restaurant of the hotel is very good, and students from the Faculty od hotel management and tourism, who work there, are very professional. I highly recommend the hotel.
