Solobrena in March was very peaceful and quiet and that's what we loved about it. The apartment is perfectly located in the centre between bus station, old town, and beach, each about 10-15 mins walk. The castle is well worth a visit and the beach very relaxing. The apartment is only a 2-4 minutes walk from two supermarkets and a street away from the local market which sells delicious take-away food. We stayed three nights and in the middle of a trip took the bus to Almunecar for the day to go to the castle and museum in the old town there. All very recommended! It was a great trip.

salobrena should be kept a seceret to prevent large crowds visiting, purely for selfish reasons!!! the area was as expected, unspoilt. the area around the beach wasnt croweded with large blocks of appartments and hotels

Salobreña looks interesting from a-far because it is on a cliff and it has castle. But in reality it is not an interesting town. The castle is just simple old walls, nothing to see. The town's church is rather dull. The streets don't have flowers. No cobblestone streets. the houses are just a mess, nothing with interesting facades or fronts.
The only good thing is that 1 km away is the beach, which is nice but lacked enough trees to provide necessary shade.

We visited Salobreña as the first half of a two-part stay in the region, with the second being in Granada. While we were waiting for the bus to Granada I saw people arriving in Salobreña for the first time and I was quite envious.

A lovely place to stay. This accommodation has been completely and tastefully renovated. It is located in the lower end of old town Salobrena so is easy to walk to from the beach and is walking distance to bars and restaurants.
There are free tea and coffee facilities available and a small honesty bar for other drinks.
Danny, one of the owners was really friendly and very helpful (and speaks good English too).
Great value for money.
I would happily recommend this place to friends and family.
The hostess was fantastic most helpful in giving me lots of information about the town and what was available in the area, nothing was to much trouble they went above expectations I would highly recommend the Salobrena I will book again in the near future
Thank you for a wonderful stay Yvonne Haddock
Exceptional location and a great double room with a kitchenette.
*Certainly follow the instructions from the hotel since driving up to the hotel can be tricky if you don't have the correct instructions since it's up into an old part of town.* Free parking for compact cars is available, but limited.
The 1st room I received when I arrived was not up to my expectations so I went to the front desk and the staff accommodated me with room#35 which I believe is the best in the hotel. I will ask and book this room when I go there every time. Wonderful room, exceptional views.
Domenika & Jose are wonderful hosts. They are so kind and welcoming. They go out of their way to help with anything you need and they take the time to engage with their guests. I highly recommend staying with them while in Salobrena, it was a pleasant surprise for me.
Thanks for having us in this unique and awsome apartment. Its a lovely place where you can calmly enjoy the heart of salobreña. It's a super nice apartment wich included everthing you need. The houskeeper and the owner are super nice and supportive. Recommendation!!
A stunning location, with a terrace overlooking farmland and views of the sea and Salobreña town. The house is comfortable, very clean, has a great kitchen, a barbeque, various outside seating areas and many unique and delightful features. Perfect and amazing.
This hotel was fantastic. The owner has remodeled an old home into a lovely, lovely hotel. Every detail is perfect. It is an excellent location in the center of the village with access to several wonderful restaurants. I highly highly recommend this hotel.
The owners were very pleasant and helpful - their young daughter's translation skills were great.
The apartment was spacious and well equipped and had a balcony.
It was close to Salobrena old town and to the beach as well as several very nice restaurants.
the great view from our room looking over Salobrena and the sea. the hotel food was very good and it’s bar where we had are lite breakfast . free parking, easy access into town centre and the beach also the to get around the Costa tropical.
We had an amazing room. the breakfast was amazing with fresh pancakes.
While I tend to stay at guesthouses as I am not a fan of big resorts, this hotel was nevertheless a great place. Without a doubt, it offers great value for money.
It's the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Salobrena. Clean, comfy, close to everything and yet still on a quiet street. The hosts are lovely as well. There really is no point staying anywhere else in town.
