I had the hostel to myself so it was extremely good value for a big space just for me! Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, kitchen was basic but adequate for simple cooking with one job plate, a kettle and a microwave.
The area is beautiful and quiet. Beware of mosquitos!
Barraca Gran is located in Deltebre. The village of Deltebre, where guests can find restaurants, bars and supermarkets, is a 15-minutes’ walk from the country house. Río Mar Beach is 10 km away.

Small town but with a good amount of restaurants and a very nice beach. It's quiet enough to have a relaxed holiday, even in the middle of summer.
The last couple of days the humidity was very high.
The surroundings are very nice to visit by foot or bicycle. Good for bird watching.

A little and quiet (at least at the end of June - beginning...
A little and quiet (at least at the end of June - beginning of July) town. If you go for crazy parties, you will find it boring. But if you are tired of big cities and need just nature, sea, sun and some food, you will like it :) Some restaurants have good choice of meals including paelia and seefood buffets.
Beds were comfy and the apartment is big and equipped with everything we needed for cooking and feeling at home.
There is a supermarket attached to the structure, which makes it easy not to move the car for going groceries.
There is an amazing walk along the stunning beach of the town, where it’s possible to go for a swim.
The swimming pool of the hotel is nice.
The staff was super friendly.
Overall great experience, our family loved it.
1) Location was perfect. 5 min walk to the beach.
2) The house a bit on the old side, but great value for money. Defo needs a bit of refreshment.
3) Swimming pool was also perfect size, kids enjoyed their time.
4) Very comfortable house in general, but do not expect hotel standards, very clean though, good facilities.
Clean and during the week quiet apartment, close to the beach. Very friendly staff/host: Miguel was very kind in organizing rental bikes that were brought to the hotel for us, and he and his wife Meike helped us a lot to get around without a car, they really went the extra mile for us!!
Quiet flat and suited our needs. Easy parking, and location is near the seafront. Riumar has a very nice boardwalk that runs along the seaward side of the dunes. I recommend Vistamar restaurant for lunch.
