From my one time experience at Ibis Ripollet, you'll get the best out of a two star hotel possible. The value for money is great, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are good, clean and with everything you'll need (for the price). The accessibilities into Barcelona are great (using a car on a weekend). The area did feel a bit "unsafe" when we got there (late at night) but not during the day.
Staff is friendly, everything is clean. The breakfast is excellent; it is fresh and good. There are restaurants near to the hotel, and they are good. For instance , A pizza place in the downtown of Ripollet. They offer a variety of food, and not just pizza. It is faraway from Barcelona downtown, but you can take a bus in front of the hotel then the subway; it will take around 30 minutes to get there.
This Hotel is located in an area very good for business but nothing is around and it's impossible to have a dinner if not inside the Hotel which is really a disaster. Worked inside are very good. All really good, parking facility also pretty easy going.

The location is not at the center, however the train station is close to the hotel, so there is no problem to get to the city center
I was in this hotel with my family. We were very happy. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily. the personnel was very friendly. And the location was in a very good spot. By train in 20 minutes you were in the center of Barcelona.

Quite good hotel for 2 stars. Breakfast was also good. Reception open 24h, thus there were no problem with check-in when we arrived after midnight. Lidl is located just next to the hotel.
