This is a super lovely hotel overlooking the river. I slept so well at night, hearing the river out the windows. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was large, clean, and well-laid out. They also had a great place for me to store my bike in the garage, which was super helpful.
We are overall very satisfied with our stay at Hotel Arzuaga. The hotel's serene location amidst the picturesque vineyards and stunning natural beauty made for a truly relaxing retreat. A small boutique hotel in the middle of the wine area close to at least 11 bodegas/chateau in the neighbourhood. Beautiful location along the Douro river with excellent parking facilities. The kitchen is outstanding. very impressed by the dishes, their taste and quality and the very knowledgeable waiter .
This is 4th time we've stayed at this hotel built in an old mill on a river. It's close to Ribera del Duero wineries--and a half hour drive from Mannix for baby lamb. Tall floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river, dramatic and modern. The breakfast is a la carte and very good.
Wonderfully designed hotel. Very good restaurant on site. Great wine list. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking on site. Wifi works well. Really loved that we got a ground floor room with the shared terrace. An exceptional place to have some wine and olives.
Overall the hotel is great however it is appalling that you pay high fees for the night and they expect you to pay for access to the pool by half hours. Also breakfast is not even deserving a 1 star.
Old building modeen renovated with a good restaurant and good wine selection. The owners are very helpful. The Hotel is not far away from a few wineries. Quite place. I definitely will return.
