It is an astonishing complex in an Arabic style. It has all the amenities that you would expect including a spa, a gym, massage, an outdoor pool. An a la carte restaurant, a buffet restaurant, an outdoor pool bar. An indoor spa pool and an outdoor extensive pool with enough chairs and parasols. You have over a wood passage direct access to a wide sandy beach. Everything is well taken care of and very clean. The staff is very friendly in general and they are helpful. On Friday night and Saturday night we had an outdoor entertainment session (80's night & Flamenco). The maitre d'hotel in Massa Fina the first night, was an excellent host.

A car or Uber is needed to nearest beach as 2.5 Kms away. But really you don’t have to leave the hotel as it has a fantastic restaurant and bar food with friendly staff. FOOD WAS EXCELLANT, LOVERY WALK THOUGH PINE TREES TO GET TO THE BEACH AND ONLY TAKES A FEW MIN,S LOUNGING AROUND THE POOL. STAFF WERE OUTSTANDING, COULD NOT HAVE DONE MORE. Lovely small scale family hotel at walking distance from a very nice beach

The Parador de Ayamonte enjoys superb views of the river Guadiana and the Algarve. It has a seasonal swimming pool and a restaurant. Rooms have views over the river, the garden or the swimming pool.

Like all the Paradors we have visited, this one was every bit as good as expected. A very comfortable spacious room with a delightful view down across the Guadiana river. Excellent overall.
