Hostess Yurena was very friendly and welcoming! The sun terrace was great for lounging, and the apartment was very clean and well-equipped - large fridge/freezer, kitchen area, and great air conditioning. Location very close to the surfing beaches and a coastal walk, but is helpful to have a car as shops and restaurants are a distance away and it is very windy to walk!

Parking outside on the street was always easy and close. The house (Casita Vanessa 2) was very homely, comfortable, and well equipped, though there is no washing machine for longer stays. The 'courtyard' area to the rear is lovely for sitting outside, eating breakfast etc. There are lots of individual touches to make the house welcoming and relaxing. A small problem regarding plumbing was sorted very quickly by the owners, so not really a nuisance.
The nearness to the sea (and being able to hear it with the windows open) was brilliant, and the coastal walkway in both directions was a wonderful bonus, as was the nearness of the bus stop for an easy journey into Las Palmas without worrying about parking.

It’s close to the airport and most places are accessible via the town. If you’re looking to mix with locals Telde is a working town and the people are friendly, Casa Campillo is a great place to crash at night if you’re out all day.

Richard and Katy were lovely. From the time Ritchard picked us up at the airport it got better throughout our evening. They cooked us dinner and chatted with us throughout. We had an early flight the next morning and Ritchard dropped us back to the airport at 5.00am. Great spot near Gran Canaria airport. We will return.

We had a nice stay. Didn’t expect to be so near the beach for the money we paid so that was good. Little surprised at the access arrangements to the apartment with the outside platform lift but enjoyed the novelty. Photos made the apartment look fresher than it was but all was clean and well equipped for self catering. Bathroom could have benefited from an extractor fan and a proper door. Bus stop was near for getting you to Las Palmas but more difficult to get to other places without going to the city first. No problem if you had a car. Selection of beaches in pleasant walking distance. Supermarkets: a bit of a walk to a spar and a long trek to the big shops.
