Absolutely stunning place and view from the balcony. Close to the starting spot for the big circular route of the national park and many others leaving from the accommodation. Nice room with quality furniture. A bit isolated but still 5 min away from Alajero and with a cafeteria in front of the hotel where we had a snack after the hike and got take away dinner to eat at our terrace.

Lovely apartment very central to sea front and restaurants but quiet at night. Spacious and very comfortable bed. Roof terrace good but no chairs up there
Located on the pretty Canarian island of La Gomera, with views of the town and the nearby island of Tenerife, this stunning Parador hotel is set on the hilltop, in beautiful tropical gardens.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a historic old building with lots of character. It's clean, spacious and the rooms are modern in terms of decoration and facilities, but they have traditional features such as wooden ceiling fans and creaking floors.
I was with a group of 6 other painters and we all loved it. The rooms and communal areas are gorgeous, but the grounds are outstanding. The views down to the harbour and above the town, up the barranco; the cactus gardens, shady areas and the pool...no need to leave the premises really.
The staff are efficient, friendly, smiling (mostly) and ridiculously hardworking. They seem to be there 24/7.
The cleaners do an exceptional job and everything is spotless and so comfortable
The place has an air of calm, and although there are a lot of rooms, it never feels noisy or too busy.
Hotel Torre Del Conde is set in the centre of Gomera’s San Sebastián, 200 metres from the marina. It features a restaurant, rooms with flat-screen TV’s and free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Rooms fine but no air conditioning. It was on the blink- think it was same last year!

If you want nightlife and action, this is not the place for you. A gentle sea side location with enough restaurants to keep you entertained in the food department.
Beach is black sand and pebble. Gentle shallow water.
There are shops to buyy provisions (at least 2 supermarkets) and a post office but not much else in terms of shops. Nice hand made jewellery shop (although a little pricey)
Ideal base location for touring the island

We stayed at the Hotel Jardin de Tecina which is a great base for exploring the island. The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and good food. There are some very nice places to eat in Playa de Santiago - but our favourite is TASCA ENYESQUE. The food is delicious! It's easy to get round on foot as Playa de Santiago is quite small but a car is recommended for exploring this beautiful island.

The best tip I can give for a visit to Playa de Santiago is you must eat at the restaurant called Juan Gonzalez. The food is absolutely delicious. We ate there 3 times in one week! Playa de Santiago is a great base from which to explore the island and the beautiful walking trails. We loved the hotel Jardin de Tecina - which makes the perfect base.

Nothing too curious to tell about this place.
Nothing too curious to tell about this place. It is quite and I think you don’t have to go to La Gomera for this village. If you come to La Gomera, rent a car and know that there is a lot of hiking going on on the island. The village is a nice place to stay and near the airport.

It is a charming little town and very peaceful, but not very much to do there. You have to book tables at the restaurants beforehand because there are not very many places to eat. Only had dinner at Don Tomate and the food there was good. For lunch one day we ate at Bar Cafeteria Los Castaños that had some nice sandwiches. The third place we tried was the bakery Pasteleria Lelo. Some places was closed during Christmas. We would have liked to try out Restaurante Kuss, but could not get a table there.

The apartment is new, equipment is new. The pool was nice and the internet was exceptional (fiber). Communication with owner uncomplicated and direct (Whatsapp chat, in English), and even though we arrived before the official check-in time, we were immediately accommodated.
The location (in central Playa de Santiago) was convenient and parking plenty (a huge lot is right next to the apartment building).
Very large, resort style hotel sitting on a high cliff above the beach and adjacent village, with wonder views of the bay and ocean. Possibly the main employer in La Gomera. Getting there is quite a ride, so not recommended for short stays, minimum one week. Most impressive feature is the elevator from the cliff down to the beach.
They never told me it was NOT on tenerife island !!!!!!!¡ ( la gomera ?!!)
though we chat and mail !!
Bad trip ...arriving airport south tenerife at 21 pm ,no hôtel ! They keep the money !!!
But i found santa cruz midnight an other hôtel ! OK.
The property is exceptionally located in Playa de Santiago. It’s clean and tidy and the apartment is very roomy. There are loads of restaurants and cafes nearby. And lots of hiking too.
