The undisputed Tenerife party capital, Playa de las Américas is a year-round resort of sun, sand and sizzling nightlife. At the foot of volcanic mountains stretching up to Mount Teide, its long beach is comprised of imported golden sand. Tenerife’s natural beaches – such as that in northern Puerto de la Cruz – are actually black sand.
Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje neighbouring Playa de las Américas also have golden beaches, and all are lapped by warm, turquoise waters. Watersports are a popular activity, and the area boasts Siam Park with its hair-raising waterslides, rapids and a host of swimming pools. There’s even a wave pool where you can surf!
Outdoor pools are also found in the Playa de las Américas accommodation on Booking.com, including 5-star resorts, cheap hotels and self-catering apartments. Aqualand has yet more flumes and pools, as well as a dolphinarium.
Dolphins and whales can also be spotted from boat trips along the coast. Other activities include Golf Las Américas, the Canaries’ largest golf course.
However, it’s what happens after dark that’s the biggest draw. The Patch complex has family-friendly bars with food, while the bars, clubs and casinos of the Starco shopping centre and Verónicas strip only really kick in at after midnight.

Touristy but very good promenade for walking.
Touristy but very good promenade for walking. Quiet at night. Beach near Parque Santiago III not suitable for swimming, good for surfing. Not normally my choice of destination but enjoyed the hotel pool, garden, room and location.

I have been visiting the Island for over 30 years and I have never had a bad visit.
Siam Park is a must!!!!
Best bar is the Brahms and Liszt on the Parque de la paz strip fabulous place with the best staff on the island
Best restaurants are Little Italy Pompeii, Vegas grill and Pier 8.
The only issue now with Tenerife is the taxis from the airport as the queues now are ridiculous.

We normally stay in Adeje but because of the steep hills that are unavoidable decided to try Las Americas. We were last there in the 90s and were pleasantly surprised how upmarket it has become. Obviously lots of investment has been made and we have rebooked our holiday for next year.

for a Nordic person, tired of sunless days Playa de las Americas is the perfect destination even in the month of February!
Several perfect sandy or rocky beaches, walking distance form one each other....The place is filled with nice restaurants, bars and terraces;
The location is a paradise for family and non-kids alike!
As a family we spent also amazing times with kids in both water parks available (free busses to the location) zoo and delfinario!

We always stay at cleopatra Palace or sir anthony because they are in the nicest bit of las americas right beside the musical fountains with excellent restaurants and shops. We eat in Bianco, taipan, empire and Thai . I book online with venture (download app) before we travel as they are very popular and excellent quality. Our favourite bar is Magic , in front of cleopatra and next to hard Rock Cafe.the beach in front of hotel is beautiful soft sand. Harry's bar is usually mobbed and too expensive but it is a prime spot overlooking fountain. We book bed &Breakfast at hotel because restaurants outside are unmissable.

This resort has changed enormously since a short visit 30 years ago and I must say it probably has ‘something for everyone’ as the cafes, restaurants and shops seem to cater for all requirements. From up market clothing stores in gorgeous complexes not out of place in Dubai, Paris or London to neighbourhood ‘touristy’ neighbourhood style mini markets, they’re all here. More restaurants than you can shake a stick at, our favourite pastime was strolling the incredibly long seaside walk and stopping for a while in the sun for a coffee, beer and pastry.

Excellent host, spoke with me several days before arrival asking for our flight information so they could meet us at the property when we arrived. Gave us a full tour of the property and let us know about where to access everything. Very nice apartment, perfect for couples. Quiet poolside area with good sized pool. Short walks into Veronica’s if you fancy the party scene or a €5 taxi in adeje or americas for excellent cocktails and food. 100% would recommend and would use again if travelling back to Tenerife.
Ideal position just outside Playa de las Americas. The whole hotel was kept immaculately clean. Staff were all very friendly, professional and worked incredibly hard. The staff really help to make this hotel! oSuite was a really good size. Bed one of the most comfortable I slept on in any hotel. Sheets and towels were changed regularly. Very varied choice of dishes at breakfast and dinner. Drinks very reasonable. Can’t really fault it. Not 5 star but it doesn’t claim to be just a well run family hotel.
The location and the food was beyond expectations. Various types of food everyday, the drinks were fresh and cold, I had an all inclusive experience, and the sea view room it’s totally worth it if you wanna watch and hear the ocean all the time, so I was impressed by the quality of the services offered. Also, the Covid measures applied here were great, and the staff was so nice all the time. Overall, I had an amazing stay and I highly recommend this hotel 👌🏼
Highly recommend. Absolutely beautiful property with very large infinity pool, jacuzzi, kids pool, restaurant, pool bar, mini store, put put golf, etc. Beautiful, spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with well equipped kitchens, patios, etc. Wonderful breakfast buffet with many hot and cold foods. Wonderful staff. Located above Los Cristianos, only a 12 minute drive from Tenerife Airport South (TFS). 3rd time we stayed here.
from start to finish our experience here was amazing! the room was clean, housekeeping came in daily, staff were incredible and the breakfast was delicious! huge variety of food available, we wish we went all inclusive!
the reps were super friendly and the activities included water polo, pool, ping pong, beer pong, archery and so many more. will definitely stay here again next time we visit Tenerife!
The location of the hotel is excellent and the room was compact but very clean and comfortable. The pool is chilly but I would imagine in the height of the summer holidays, it will be a godsend. The food was very nice although a little repetitive, we only upgraded to the all inclusive for the last couple of days which was perfect.
We stayed all inclusive at the H10. Our room was a junior suite modern & very clean equipped with a coffee machine tv mini fridge ect. The hotel lobby & pool and surrounding areas were also modern and kept extremely clean which was fantastic. The location was great 1 minute walk away from lots of restaurants and the beach.
Host was friendly and kind, he allowed us to check-in few hours before the deadline.
The location is excellent, 50m from the beach, from where you can see the best sunset from Las Americas.
The room had all the prerequisites needed for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely come back for a next stay in Tenerife.
The complex is lovely, clean, and comfortable. The location is fantastic! Right on the beach, and in the coziest area of Playa de las Americas. Los Christianos with its water activities (we went kayaking) is a walk away. The bus stop is near. A very good (but overpriced) supermarket is close by.
We stayed as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) during October mid-term break and found hotel being really family oriented, very good activities near the pool for kids and adults, super entertainment team (particularly enjoyed yoga and darts by the pool) and very central location.
Alessandro, the host, was super nice with us both regards the accommodation and useful tips about the island. El Cardon has a perfect location since it is a 2min walk to Playa de Las Americas, one of the best night life of Tenerife.
This was our first time at an all inclusive hotel but we didn’t know choose this option.
Animations were great fun and facilities were great
Reception team were great and there’s an option for late check out
The view was great.
The apartment had everything needed for comfortable stay.
My next trip to Tenerife I’ll start by checking the availability of that property.
The hotel staff was amazing! They made us feel so welcome and right at home. A great location, great pool area and overall great stay. I really reccomend it.
Spacious room, clean, comfy. Friendly stuff.
Hotel right on the beach, located in the middle of the resort. Tasty and good variaty of food. Great breakfast.
Like the hotel but found the staff very rood you have to wait a long time at reception to get served the food was very good entertainment staff first class
