The communal area is spacious and nice. The hostess is lovely and hard-working. The breakfast is very good value featuring excellent local produce. It's warm and relaxing. Also quirky and interesting. It's a eco-conversion and each room is named after a famous writer.

Room and bed were comfortable, even amazing after 3 nights in mountain refugi.
The half- board option was amazing after short rations in the mountains and at the standard or even better thanexpected for Hotel of this level.
The heating was a bit random with timings but was plenty warm enough.
The staff were helpful and much appreciated.

For the price you can't ask for more! The beds and pillows have been renewed and the room was clean. There were blankets on the wardrobe and the room was cozy. There was hot water without issues and the location is amazing.

The surroundings are beautiful and the staff are wonderful, so helpful, accommodating and friendly. Beautiful places to sit if sunny or if rainy inside.
A village that has seen a lot of up-market second-homes...
A village that has seen a lot of up-market second-homes built. It does have a nice bar (The Casino) in the centre and a couple of restaurants. It's on the main route to two ski resorts and acts as a base for wealthy skiers and hikers.
Nice staff and a great location at the river. It looks like this hotel is some kind of youth hostel, where a lot of families go for a weekend vacation. So there are also activities available like basketball, and more... You can additionally add dinner for about 10€ which was a great buffet. Would definitely stay there again
Property full of character. Excellent food and helpful staff. Location was a little difficult by foot ( group were hiking). As hotel is on hiking route some information about ease of access by foot would be helpful. Beware the gin and tonics (good measure but expensive)
The Masia, the staff, the restaurant, the location and the service in this Hotel is amazing - fully recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the area. You will be made to feel at home straight away! They also accept dogs which was really helpful!
Very peaceful and quiet. Close to ski resorts. Planoles is such a quaint little town. I loved walking to the town bar for dinner each night. The accommodation was very relaxing and laid back. Victor is very nice.
