our second visit here. basically for the secluded position in the Picos de Europa, off the tourist route. This is a well appointed family run hotel that does a good breakfast. Note that they don't do any other meals but restaurants are approx 2km away in Vada or 12km ion Potes.
Pembes is a picturesque, tiny village. Founded in the 13th century, it is worth a walk through. Continue through town, and you'll access a very nice, if relentlessly uphill, walk into pasture land with nice views of the Picos.
