Beautiful decor, cosy and homely feel. The staff were all wonderful, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I came down to dinner late and would have understood if they said dinner wasn’t possible. Instead they went out of their way to prepare something for me. I had dinner and breakfast - both cooked in front of me and delicious.
My room was fabulous, a HUGE bed!
Everything was so clean too. Highly recommended.

Firstly I should point out that staff went out of their way to make a bad situation better.
We arrived I'm the middle of a heatwave. We discovered there was no air-conditioning or fan in the room. This is a booking.com problem. I used the filters to specify air-conditioning but somewhere in the process it was dropped without me spotting it.
First impression of the room - oh dear. We could smell the shower curtain as soon as we opened the door. Rank. Staff gave us another room. The bathroom was miniscule. The shower curtain smelled rank
We had a sleepless night. Noise from the street outside and also other guests slamming doors kept us awake.
Staff gave us another room the following day. Again the noise and heat deprived us of sleep.
Never again.
I want to stress that staff were helpful, but their hands are tied. The hotel is old. I'"m sure it has its place but not for me.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable place - management sent us clear instructions way before our arrival and everything was great from the start. Definitively recomended to all who wish to visit Palencia. There is a public (paid) parking just below the building which is really convenient.

We couldn’t get booked in the main town and by chance came across this little Oasis in the middle of a small quiet town. The property is beautiful and we were met by Sylvia the enthusiastic daughter of the owner. She was so nice to deal with. The property was very well presented and had a beautiful heated pool. We did worry that we may have difficulty getting food in this small town but were pleasantly surprised by a small local bar that was extremely well kept and the friendly staff served us a very simple but well prepared tasty meal. If I was to return again I would not miss this beautiful property and the owners 😀
