Pampaneira is walked through in a couple of minutes and makes for some nice pictures, but this is the highlight for us, every time we get here.
Other than that you can take a considerable 10km hike all the way up to Capileira and down the other side of the river.
This can be shortended by making it down to the river from Bubion.
We had a very pleasant hike, partly shadowed by trees.
No water source on opposite side, so fill up in Capileira.
Spacious room (jr suite) & insane view from the balcony. It is located in (voted) one of the most beautifull Spanish villages. It is nice to walk through these nice small mountain alleys.
Possibility of parking in the hotels own garage (in the basement; small fee). Parking place upposide the road is crowded and most off the time full.
Great location. Absolutely loved our host Miguel and his wife. They genuinely cared that we had an excellent experience in Pampaneira. Recommended great restaurants and hikes. All the meals at casa de abuela were great. I'd give Casa Pepo and Pampaneira 20 stars if we could. One of the highlights of our trip to Spain 😁

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in Pampaneira. We loved the hostal -- really nice people, good food, comfortable rooms, great location (just a few steps from the bus stop), right in the heart of the village.
Stayed in this beautiful hotel for 2 nights. The room is so comfy with your own terrace. The bathroom is so big. The shower is super. The staff are super friendly and efficient, and the breakfast is so generous. 👌
NIce place to stay in the heart of Pampaneira. Our room had a view of the church and main square. The location is perfect as it's right next to the restaurants and close to the parking of the city.
Everyone was really friendly and welcoming, the hotel is super clean and our room was nice and spacious. The chocolate cake and carrot cake were a dream for breakfast :)
