Amazingly looking and positively impressed. Can't imagine why only 2 stars. In the (small) city center. The restaurant is amazing and the prices are surprisingly low.

Excellent location for exploring the area. Designed like a boutique hotel, immaculately clean. Lovely owners who are very helpful. Very peaceful location.
In the province of Burgos, this hotel has theatrical decor and enjoys a location in a quiet village beside a river. The building once housed a Spanish Indiano family from the early 20th century.

Big, clean and very quiet. The owner did leave me a breakfast out as I left early in the morning. There are two bars down the road as an alternative to eat.

A beautiful little walking town (actually it has historical city status!). Within easy train journey to Bilbao. Lots of wonderful scenery with plenty of interesting and/or challenging walks. Plenty of cafes with helpful locals. Vibrant town square in the evening. Great central place to use as a base for Basque activities.

Interesting old town with an amazing museum displaying many artefacts from the local trades (e.g. shoe making, chair making, confectionery) and a fantastic collection of fossils and minerals. Don't miss the museum!

An interesting, isolated Basque town with a long history.
An interesting, isolated Basque town with a long history. Well worth a visit for a night or two, but be careful out of 'season' and at the beginning of the week if planning to eat out in the evenings.
We had a fantastic stay and the hotel was excellent. The staff were super, especially the barman who entertained our son and us with amazing magic tricks. The patio for drinks was just right for a relaxing drink. The hotel is close to some bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The location on the plaza was fantastic. My wife and son thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatments. Would definitely stay again if we get the chance.
Room was comfortable. The hotel is clean and pleasant. The spa area was quite nice, they have several pools, saunas and everything you would expect. The place is nice and you can dine on pintxos and good wine.
Fantastic view of the old square in Orduna. Large spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Yvonne was perfect host, so helpful and friendly, communication was above and beyond
