Well situated in a historical town, lovely surroundings for walks. The hotel setting in an old monastery is unique. Close enough to the motorway for an overnight stay on route to the Santander ferry.

Property had a television so we could watch the European Championships. It had a restaurant open from midday until 3pm. It was quaint & quiet with absolutely fantastic views of the clouds actually lower than the mountains. The rooms were very comfortable & the staff went above and beyond to satisfy us. There was even undercover parking for our motorbikes.

The property was quite isolated, but was a short drive from a small village. Beautiful situation in countryside. Friendly reception & good restaurant with good menu. Rooms spotless. Quirky but welcoming.

The location was as expected, it's a motorway truck park. The Hotel reception and where you have to check in is in the Cafe associated with the petrol station. I suspect at busy times it's a bit chaotic. The room was clean and and comfortable and for the price excellent value and for me who was travelling to Porto from Santander the location was good. I didn't try any food I just bought a few beers and nibbles from the mini-shop next to the cafe.

We loved our stay here - it really exceeded our expectations. The room/apartment (with very comfortable double bed, sofabed and kitchenette and conservatory type space with gallery windows) was fab.
The communal space downstairs and outside was beautifully decorated and the garden and covered pool were delightful. Lovely owners. I'd really recommend this place for a stay at any time of year.
Lovely breakfast was served in the morning. Dinner was not offered but there is a lovely burger restaurant 2 mins drive (15 mins walk) down the road.
