The room was very spacious, very clean and comfortable. It had the benefit of a very large balcony and superb views of the historic centre and surroundings. Ideally situated at the foot of the historic centre with very convenient access via bus, taxi or escalator if on foot. Room service was quick and efficient. The hotel appeared very new and thus facilities were first rate. Highly recommended for those looking to stay in Toledo.

We arrived on Toledo on a bank holiday and only discovered late in the afternoon that the lighting and extractor fan in the bathroom were not working. We reported this and were moved to an alternative room and given free breakfasts on all three days of our stay, which we thought was very fair compensation as the breakfast was excellent and the alternative room was almost as nice as the original one (just slightly smaller).
Our room overlooked the main square but despite this, was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable, so sleep quality was excellent. The shower was excellent and toiletries and towels were of high quality .All the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and ensured that we got the most from our stay.
Others have commented on the staircase to the first floor foyer area. It's actually a beautiful staircase, and someone always magically appeared to help us with luggage on arrival and departure, so this was not a problem for us.
