The hotel is a bit different, but one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Spain. It has an individual aesthetic and is not straight forward to get to as the road is unmade in places and quite rough. However it is worth the effort getting there as the place is so peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. The views are incredible and the couple that run it are very friendly and helpful. The meals are exceptional!

Well built little hotel with quirky decor. Super clean, lift/elevator to the rooms and good bathrooms. In the centre of a nice village. Excellent Spanish breakfast with great coffee.

The hotel is just outside Ávila and only a short drive into town. It is located next to a monastery in an idyllic setting. The main business is the big restaurant with a cosy terrace and serves typical Spanish homemade dishes. The owner is very welcoming and friendly and showed us himself to our room. The room was spacious and clean with an ensuite bathroom and a large bed.
Parking was free, and the car was parked right in front of our window.
Pets are welcome, and do not get charged extra.

Just what I needed, comfortable, quiet, there is a microwave, I had a room at the front, with the sun in the afternoon (the rooms at the back are not so nice in the winter), warm in the room (but no heating in the dining room), free parking

Great communication from the host Ana. Fantastic property in the heart of the village. If you take the property for what it is (an old property steeped in character) you will not be disappointed. Very comfortable for our group of 3, possibly a tight squeeze downstairs for a larger group.
