Despite, or perhaps, because of, the dreadful weather, the exterior of the hotel was very welcoming and attractive. Inside, everything was scrupulously clean and the decor was just right for the style of building. The room was a little small, but warm and comfortable.
The hotel is within easy reach of a number of good-looking restaurants (although most were closed the night we were there) and a short walk from the embalse (reservoir) and tracks up into the high hills.
The breakfast was generous compared with many similar places, and good value.

I loved the service here! I came late, soaked, cold and tired after a long Camino walk in the heavy snowfall. I didn't expect to get any food after 21.00. I was really surprised to find out their restaurant was open until 23.00. So, I had a lovely meal and was treated with warmth and attention.
A nice, clean room, a good breakfast. A perfect stay!

Good location. Food and beverage in the bar/cafe downstairs is pretty good with a nice local crowd. There are also restaurants, bars, cafes and various stores close by.
Hotel Rural Las Rozuelas is located in the countryside 5 minutes’ drive from Cercedilla, within Guadarrama National Park. This charming property is set in gardens surrounded by forest.
Cute town in the "foothills" of the Guadarramas. We did a nice hike our first day there. The second day we went up to the ski area several miles to the north and did a snowshoe hike. There were plenty of skiers up there as well (it was March). The town had all kinds of nice bodegas and restaurants, no tourist stores since it is kind of off the beaten track. It felt like I was in the real Castilla la Nueva.

The village was pleasant to look at but restaurants and shops were closed on the Monday. Did not visit village after Monday. It would be easy to get around village but no point as it was raining all the time we were in the area and the temperature was as low as 15 degrees. Would not stay in Navacerrada again or recommend except in high season.
The hotel was extremely clean, 10 points for the housekeeper and all staff involved in hotel cleaning, linen etc.
The hotel itself is beautiful, it's a rural cute stone made building, a proper mountain hotel. Just a few meters walking from Navacerrada main square where all restaurants are located.
You don't need a car to get to know the village.
If you come by car they let you park inside the hotel facilities for free (that is simply amazing).
