As we were driving to another destination, this hotel, located in teh motorway, was a very good stop. The desk staff were very helpful and kind to give us some directions in what to see and where to park in Lugo (the hotel is sort of 10min drive from the city). The hotel has a restaurant and cafeteria, which is very handy if you don't want to drive to the city. As we didn't make our reservation with breakfast, and didn't want to pay extras 9,5€ per person, we order a simple one at the cafeteria and, despite the grumpy waiter, it was just what we needed. Our room was spacious, but it had a very boring decoration that could be easily improved.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are clean but basic. Easy local parking and an easy flat walk to the Roman wall. Although we didn’t require it, our room 106 had an adapted bathroom with walk-in shower etc. Breakfast is basic but sufficient.

My stay at Sercotel EsteOeste was smooth and pleasant. The room was not huge but well organised, with a beautiful design just like the common areas of the hotel. Great breakfast with freshly baked cakes and cookies. Some options were sloghtly different every day and there is a gluten free corner too. Helpful and friendly stuff, calm atmosphere to work as well.
