Only fourty five minutes from ferry port of Bilbao, away from city in national park area so very convenient for early morning sailings or late evening arrivals. Only 5 minutes off the motorway so quick and easy to travel and find hotel in small town.
Underground parking safe and secure but only 4 or 5 places available.
Hotel Restaurant closed due to Covid 19, but continental breakfast was fresh and quickly served and available from 07.15 am.

Lovely town , nice bars and restaurants , we ate in the hotel which was excellent and at a restaurant in the square , again excellent . Very friendly people , and well kept , pretty and safe town with easy parking .
We had one problem with the town and that was a rock music concert that started at 9 pm and finished at 5.30am which was so loud that no one got any sleep the night before competing in an Ironman event in nearby Vitoria - no blame for the hotel but whoever gave permission for such loud music until that time needs sacking !
