Perfect tranquility! Beautiful house in nature. Everything is thought of, and service and food excells. Fantastic with the pool and sauna after a hike.
Hotel Katxi is a hidden gem! I picked it because it was between Guernica and Bilboa. And, what a great pick it was! Miriam, the receptionist, housekeeper, maintenance, and overall amazing hostess, was terrific! She was so gracious. Helped us with directions, places not to miss, and restaurants. She also gave us instructions to our hotel in Bilboa! The hotel is beautiful situated in the countryside - so it was just heaven - so quiet! And the restaurant attached, delicious! I can't recommend Hotel Katxi enough!!
It exceeded my expectations
It was a wonderful and charming surprise.
A very nice lady greeted us like expected friends. A very nice room equipped with everything you would expect in at least a four-star hotel.
The restaurant served delicious local dishes and wines. I don't like to price my stays, but this time I decided to do it because in my opinion this place is special.
The hospitality! We were welcomed with open arms. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Outdoors you can enjoy the view and peacefull surroundings while reading a book in one of the super comforable sofas. Strongly recommend this place when you want to visit Bilbao and the basque country.
Miriam made our stay extra special. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a very warm welcome and felt she went out of her way to help us with her knowledge about the area. We had the best experience and highly recommend this hotel and the beautiful surroundings. Thank you Miriam
