Very new modern hotel with focus on the environment. Digital displays for example, inform you about the water you use when taking a shower. Room is a nice size and well equipped. One thing that's a little different is that the glass door to the toilet is quite open at the top.
Breakfast is sufficient but no warm dishes though. Location is only 5 min away from the beach while the Balcony of Europe and historic city center is only 10 min away. Parking in the garage is 15 euros a day (reserve in advance). Staff is ever so friendly.
Hotel Torremar is centrally located, just 50 metres from Torre del Mar Beach. It offers a sun terrace with hot tubs, loungers and spectacular sea views.

The Mainake Costa del Sol Hotel is located 150 metres from the beach in the quiet resort of Torre del Mar between Málaga and Nerja. It has a seasonal swimming pool and free Wi-Fi.

Easy walk to beach and very central. Had a pool but we didn’t use it as full. The property was fine, beds comfy and single beds wider than normal.
Hotel Miraya Beach is situated in Torre del Mar seafront and features a terrace. This 2-star hotel offers free WiFi. Guests can have a drink at the bar. At the hotel, each room has a desk.

It neighbours Torrox Costa which is by far the better resort and has many beachside restaurant which are very attractive and sells good food.
Much of the building work around El Morche remains unfinished and this makes the resort look untidy and unattractive.
There is one computer shop in El Morche but it is still closed due to Coronavirus. This means that if you have to print off documents for travel there is a requirement to go to Torrox Costa.
There is, however a very good Linea bus service which goes to and from Torrox Costa. Also there is a bus service to Torre del Mar, Malaga and Nerja.
There are a few small supermarkets and other shops but no interesting shops apart from the pottery shop at the end of the resort.
