Very responsive caretaker and owner. We needed extra room, and it turns out the owner has another house that's connected, called El Encanto de Mora, which we also rented and actually liked even more.
Just an insignificant detail: this is the first time I have seen a holiday rental with a fridge door that opens on the correct side.

The Hotel is ideally situated for travel between the spanish costas and north inti France, Bilbao and Santander. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The Menu del dia was good and excellent value. The breakfast was typical Spanish but plentiful. As an overnight stop it is excellent value.

Winter must be hectic with skiing tourism but summer was relatively fresh and cool.

Beautiful area, lots to see and do. Excellent food. There are plenty of places nearby to swim on a hot day, and plenty of nature if you want to get away. The only downside, I would say, is that some of the restaurants are a bit pricey.

This was a good budget hotel. A bit dated but perfectly ok. The balcony with views of the mountains was really nice. They allow dogs in the rooms only, so they’re not allowed in the bar or restaurant area. For us, thankfully, it was a sunny morning and so we could eat breakfast on the terrace. The staff were helpful in that they insisted they carried our food out for us.
