We loved everything. The space, the light, the cosy nooks and beautiful views. Our favourite was the breakfast bar built on the window in the living room, looking out to the mountains. Coffee there watching the sun rise was just magical.
Overlooking Ronda’s spectacular Tajo Gorge, the renovated Catalonia Reina Victoria Wellness & Spa offers an outdoor pool, a spa, extensive gardens and an à la carte restaurant with panoramic views.

The staff, on the whole, were excellent - welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was very good. Facilities also very good. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our comfort.
This carefully restored building dates from the 18th century and lies in the most historic district of Ronda, surrounded by ancient monuments.

Wonderful character building in the heart of old town of Ronda, just east walk to all of the main sites. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially Isabel, who couldn’t have been more helpful in giving advice and recommendations.
Located next to La Merced Square, this hotel is 190 metres from Ronda’s Bullring, in the historic town of Ronda. Hotel Colón offers rooms with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Whilst a little off route, Montejaque is a 15 min trip from Ronda and well worth a visit. The scenery is spectacular, the village authentique and the residents are helpful and friendly. If you like walking, bird watching or just chilling in the plaza this is a perfect spot to escape to.

Good spot for walking, plenty of bars.
Good spot for walking, plenty of bars. Would recommend the restaurant at Casitas de la Sierra for at least one night. If planning on walking in the mountains make sure to take plenty of water a good map or GPS. Once on the mountains the paths are not always clear so a GPS really helped. We downloaded several walks from Wikiloc.
A fantastic location: the views are excellent, the village (Montejaque) has quite a few facilities - small shops, cafes, ATMs, etc.
The facilities in the house were great (although - keep in mind, not all houses have airco, but that's in the description). There are BBQ facilities in the common area and in he private garden of the house (the coal was availble which was great!). The pool is also great.
The place, in general, is lovely - very quiet, quite a few things to see around; don't miss the caves!
The town of Montejaque was exceptionally lovely, at the edge of one of the most beautiful Nature parks we have seen in Andalucia, Sierra de Grazalema. The hotel was located on the small village plaza that was lively in the evening, but not noisy. The walk uphill through the old Nazarid barrio to the Mirador was really great. Clean and comfortable. Lots of books to browse in various languages left behind by other travelers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy and safe to store our bicycles.
The Casita is very charming and we'll situated in Montejaque. Parking is close and with a small car you can drop off the bags within 50 metres. We enjoyed the serenity and also the comfort of the place
Excellent bed, great kitchen and the possibility to cook a light meal. The neighbours are lovely and it was just a short walk to the plaza to have a drink and tapas. Thank you Silvestre for always supporting us with immediate replies and great tips to enjoy Montejaque and the surroundings.
We loved this house in Montejaque! It’s a small town but close to some beautiful hiking and the city of Ronda. We visited in the winter but plenty of heaters were provided and there is a service available to order firewood. The beds were very warm so we stayed quite comfortable. My only advice is to bring a lot of food with you as there are very few groceries and restaurants in the village. Apartment was very clean.
Wonderful house, right on the main square of Montejaque. Beautiful hiking routes are only 5-10 minutes away by car. Owner is welcoming and accommodating. Comfortable house, equipped with anything you could need. The jacuzzi was amazing for the warm afternoons!
Puerta Verde is a comfortable authentic house with a personal touch. It's lovely decorated, cool quiet and in a small distance of the hotels, bars and restaurants. It's very clean and cosy.
It is a rural hotel. Very comfortable and very helpful staff. The shower was great. Bed good. We booked for one night and stayed 2 nights.
We would happily return.
