Nice budget accomodation. Had almost all the basics like washing liquid, salt, pepper, sugar. You have to bring your own washing powder.

No public transport, you will need a car to go to the beach. Little parking but frene. Beautiful churches and clock tower (currently being renovated) Castle is not worth the climb, in my opinion. Petrer and Mola are very close and worth the drive. Very nice bakeries and some takeaways. Beware of opening times due to Siesta. Mercadona has very good prices and choice, but closes Sunday.

5 night stay turned into 4 night. We left early. We had to buy food in supermarkets and eat in our accommadation as there were NO restaurants open in the evening Dec 20-24. Nothing about the town to recommend. At least Pinoso and Elda are close by
