Ferran was extremely helpful and helped direct me to the property with the best route from Barcelona. On arriving, he met me and handed me the keys and sent me the location of the supermarket. The apartment was perfect and the town is beautiful - the perfect place to stay if you are planning on going hiking up Montserrat!

The location is perfect. There were toys which our children enjoyed. The house was clean and relatively big although only one bathroom. The host was great and friendly.

I think it has a great location. I booked it one year before and forgot to mention I want the view side, so we were looking at the wall from our room. But great location and easy to go with train + cremallera.

The staff were fantastic, very accommodating. We could not get a meal there as it was Monday (cook's day off I guess) and the guys at reception went out of their way to organise a takeaway from a local restaurant. It is a bit run down and weirdly there is no balcony furniture at all. It has lovely grounds, a large pool, basketball court and is surrounded by trees. We even saw a wild boar close by. Despite its run down air we would definitely stay again.

We spent two nights in Monistrol, and it takes all day to see the monastery. (I noticed in Barcelona that some tours offer a six hour visit there, counting travel time, and that's not enough.) Monistrol is one train stop away from the cable cars up to the monastery, and we got an early start and only had to wait about ten minutes for a cable car, The view of the mountain from our hotel window was amazing.

This was our second January visit and there seemed to be less open than last year, so self catering remains our preference. When they are open, there is a good choice of shops and the best supermarket is opposite the bakery on Carrer del Pla. Excellent train service into Barcelona for day tripping

This hostel is perfectly situated for visits to the Montserrat monastery. Clean and tidy, bar and restaurant available. number key access to property and room excellent. walk-able to both Cremella and the main train station, 1 stop only to Arei de Montserrat. both worth doing. Free car parking close to Hostel, local bars serve food too. will be returning to do more walking around the national park. parking at the very top access through barrier but only E7.00 (just under) for 24 hrs, so excellent value.
The flat was super nice. It has everything you need in the kitchen and heating that actually works!
The location is great! It's walking distance from Monistrol station. We arrived in the evening, with a buggy, and the flat was easy to find. There's a supermarket, a nice bar and a children's playground at 7 minutes from the flat. All in a lovely square at the end of a pretty walk. The next morning we went back to the same station for the cremallera to the monastery. Everyone was super helpful and kind.
Comfortable accommodation right in the centre of Monistrol. It is an original old apartment so we had an authentic taste of living in this city. The apartment was clean, the kitchen had everything one needs. Wifi worked without problems. Just next to the apartment was a small bakery with lovely croissants for brakfest.
The apartment is well placed in Monistrol, with access to local life. Although it's difficult to drive through the streets, free parking are to be found at about 2-3 walking minutes tops.
The apartment is big enough for 2-3 people, with all commodities.
The hotel was a perfect place to stay, before going up to Montserrat. The host contacted through Whatsapp, allowing to enter the hotel at your own convenience. Room was clean, with a beautiful view outside of the scenic area.
Pere and Carme are wonderful hosts. They truly understand the meaning of hospitality. The location of the hotel is amazing with beautiful views on Montserrat and dinner at their restaurant was very good.
