The room was pristine with great sound proofing (we couldn’t hear the road at all). The centre of Moguer is a 10 min walk and so finding a bar and restaurant was easy. Cafe downstairs was great for breakfast. Great stopover for us so don’t be put off by location when you arrive.

It was a convenient place to stay for the purpose of my visit - to visit the "grave of the man who never was". The area itself is not somewhere I'd normally like to visit.
The NH Luz is located in central Huelva, next to the Huelva Museum and just 15 km from Punta Umbria Beach. All rooms have a balcony, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.

This excellent rural hotel is in a nice loction if you want to get to the ferry to Canary Islands from Huelva,The ferry terminal in Huelva is almost 10 miles outside Huelva and this rural hotel is just 15 min from the ferry terminal.Anybody bringing the car to Tenerife could use this hotel with this convenient location.¨either coming by night from Tenerife ferry or leaving by the morning to Tenerife
spotlessly clean, spacious room and bathroom, access to a great local eatery - breakfast and tapas at the downstairs cafe were very tasty and good value! staff were so very helpful and accommodating, especially Estoban and Anntonia. They worked so hard to make our stay comfortable despite the language barriers. The town of Moguer was lovely to walk around and had some very pleasant squares where we had a drink and watched the world go by. Great job!
The staff was great, very helpful and friendly.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the center of the town which was nice, however without a car it was very difficult to get to some of the places nearby that I was interested in seeing. The hotel had a very nice ambience. I did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that. All in all I was very satisfied with my stay here at Hotel plaza escribano.
Everyone having to work in Moguer always stay in Huelva for some reason. I decided to give this little hotel a go and was very positively surprised. The staff is helpfull, the place is clean and the restaurant downstairs serve truly homemade food that pays homage to the Hospitality of Spain.
For the price and the location you wont find a better deal in the area.

The host was very friendly. The hotel looks very good on the inside as it was recently renovated.
The room I was given was bigger than I expected and quiet as it was situated in the back of the building (it was my request to be given a quiet room).
This is a charming, traditional hotel that pays homage to Moguer's own Juan Ramón Jiménez (and other writers.) I loved my small room, and the bed was especially comfortable. The location is central and Moguer is a lovely town, well worth a few days.
