Loved everything and the continental breakfast was excellent 🤗 The host recommended a restaurant at the train station that must not be missed ... excellent food, and good value for money. We are walking Camino del Norte and it was a good stop for food before we checked in. The accommodation is on the way.

Visited many times,and therefore surprised to be asked for pre payment as this has never been the case before.At breakfast some items needed replenishment.

The staff were all really courteous, polite and helpful. We tried out our Spanish, they were very patient. No Brits at the hotel which suits us!
The beach view from our balcony was really lovely. The food in the restaurant was excellent quality, mostly very tasty, we made a couple of choices that weren’t so good but that’s our fault. The cheesecake and chocolate coulant
were magnificent.

A lovely area for nature walks etc.
A lovely area for nature walks etc. Though mine was just a short stay this time, it lends itself to much more exploration of the area. Main reason for my stay, was the closeness to Santander for the ferry, yet being in a lovely, peaceful area with a great hotel. Will certainly revisit and for a longer stay.
When we had ended our stay in the ridiculous top floor spa room with its porn lighting, we paid in full the amount we were presented with in the form of a printed invoice and we paid in full with CASH.
Two days later after returning to the UK we discovered this despicable hotel taken additional monies from my bank account without authorisation using the booking.com original booking information. this has been reported as theft to our back who are in the process of recovering the stolen funds.
Lovely spacious hotel right on a beautiful beach. Sunsets were amazing. Staff polite, courteous and efficient. Our room was spacious with a large walk in shower, which I appreciated as I am disabled.
We ate dinner each night in the restaurant and the food was good, a couple of things not to my taste but I like to try things. Chocolate coulant pudding was delicious! So was the cheesecake according to my husband!
We loved everything. hotel is just beautiful, old fashioned and so romantic. Eva and Adam are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. Location is very good if you looking for quiet places but also 20 min by train to Santander, with train station 2 min walk from the hotel.

I'm walking the Camino del Norte and found the hotel by accident as it was reasonably priced compared to everything else around. To then find a 4 star hotel with a spa was a bonus - it helped my muscles immensely and the facilities were as expected from a 4 star hotel. It was on the beach and had a full restaurant and room service.
Everything about this property is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the common areas in the hotel are fantastic. The family who run this hotel are incredibly nice and accommodating. This is by far one of my favorite places I have stayed on my travels!
The room was large and confortable and right next to the beach. The restaurant is good (but a little expensive). The hotel offers everyday lemonade and apples (and some candies as well!). The hotel also offers discounts for different activities around Mogro
