The hosts are amazing and could not have done more to make our holiday an absolute joy. The location is in a small village in the mountains; so peaceful and the views are to die for.
Our room was luxuriously spacious, clean, very comfortable and I loved the toiletry extras that were provided. There were plenty of towels and pool towels for us to use.
There was an honesty bar that served a wide range of soft and alcoholic drinks. A Continental Breakfast is provided which is very good and there is also the option of having a delicious evening meal cooked for you by the hosts on request.
The pool is fabulous! We very much felt that we were staying in our own private villa.
You definitely will need to hire a car and although at first the mountain roads were a little 'hairy', you totally get used to them after a day ... driving in Spain on their roads is heaven compared to our roads in the UK!
Granada is about 25 minutes drive away and worth a visit.
We can't wait to return and highly recommend this beautiful gem of a B & B.

Lovely historic building which still retains many elegant features, like the terrace out the front, many big wooden doors and beautiful floor tiles. Great swimming pool area with lots of relaxing space.

A welcoming, intimate hotel blessed by a stunning mountain backdrop and situated in Lanjarón, not far from the centre and the towns well-known spa.

The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors talking, it is good if you don't understands what they are talking about :-) Air is amazing and sleeping was the best in my life, after the guests in the next room stop talking. Location is great, the hotel in the center of the Lanjaron , everything is super close, public swimming pool, restaurants, souvenir shops, grocery shop, the amazing hot "churros" bakery. My full recommendation for this little hotel. In spite the fact that the hotel hasn't got its own parking, there is a fine free parking place nearby.
The views and location are fantastic. A great place if you like walking or to use as a centre to explore the Alpujarras mountains. There is nothing much in Melegis, but the neighbouring village of Restabal is a short walk away and has bars, shops and restaurants and a brilliant bakery. We ate once at Los Naranjos, which was excellent - otherwise we ate at a friend's house.
