Quiet location for a relaxed weekend away.
The young lady that runs the camping was extremely helpful providing us with blankets for the beds as it was cold at night.
The basic little cafe / shop was just what we needed
Set in a traditional Andalusian-style courtyard, Posada Alegria features air-conditioned apartment with free Wi-Fi. The complex offers a terrace with nice view of the surrounding area.

Delightful Posada immediately outside the main square. We had a lovely room with a balcony and a great view over the pretty town. We were given helpful advice by the lady who owns it on walking routes to the various sites such as the castle and more importantly, where to park! We used an untarmaced site about 250 m away. She also allowed us to store luggage for a few hours next morning whilst we went to eat. We would definitely go back if in the area again.

Perfect location and apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. There was free public off street parking available a few minutes walk away. Great selection of bars cafes and restaurants very close by.

Is a small town, with only a few services, but enough for a weekend. You need to be in good shape if you are walking from the main town square to the top (where the the old church is placed)
Gastronomy is very nice and has a good quality/price ratio.
Public transport is not a good point, so you can hire a rent car, a taxi or have luck with the public bus (going to Cadiz, Jerez or other main cities, but the timetable is quite short)

We were looking for an affordable hotel during one month trip from France-Portugal-Spain. This one was perfect. We had no idea about this village; Medina Sidonia but we were very happy to discover this beautiful & unique place. The hotel is clean and confortable, well located as there are parking place not far and the centre of town is only 3,4 minutes on foot. Special thanks to Sandra who assist us giving maximum information on our arrival.
authentic Spanish accommodation . Our hosts were so helpful with suggestions of what to see and do both in Medina Sidonia and further afield, nothing was too much trouble. would highly recommend this property if you want to sample Spanish life in a beautiful old village house.
The hotel is located in a small white town. The receptionist was friendly and advised us on nice nearby restaurants. Hotel facilities were clean. Ideal for the ones who want to immerse fully into the andalucian atmosphere.
Very near centre, very quiet, mini kitchen was perfect. 25 yards to hotel car park. Pool was small but good. Staff were very helpful, allowed us access several hours early, for which we were very grateful.
Stayed here before and it's perfect for a couple of nights in Medina Sidonia. Located a stones throw from the main square. Very clean and comfortable. Great wifi.
